comment on the article

Bobby Zamora's spectacular early strike kept West Ham's hopes of Premiership survival alive and dented Everton's push for a Uefa Cup place.

Zamora curled home a left-foot finish from 20 yards after 13 minutes to give West Ham a deserved three points.

Everton lost top scorer Andrew Johnson with an ankle injury early on, and Mikel Arteta missed their best chance of an equaliser with nine minutes left.

Yossi Benayoun was just off target for West Ham, but they held on to win.

Give your thoughts on the match - will West Ham stay up?

today was a must win game but next week is even more important. if we beat wigan, we will have a great chance. Bolton have to play chelsea next week and then come to to upton park, so theoretically they could be comin to upton park on the back of 4 straight losses. 38 points will be enough. we just have to get them and i think a win next week against wigan will make us favourites to avoid the drop

Seems to me that we are doing our usual mess up when it really counts. Fortunately for us, Bolton also lost although Reading's win means they are closing in. We have 3 tough fixtures left but I am confident that we will still get into the UEFA cup.

West Ham just wanted it more today and the injury to AJ clearly didn't help.

A good win for the hammers today but their last three games are tough. If they can get enough points in their remaining games, and I don't think they will, they deserve to stay up.

No doubt about it, its sh*t or bust time for you now. Three tough games but everything to gain by going all out to win them. Good luck!

We will get the points we need to stay up then the FA will trip us up when they sit for the Argie calamity.
The previous board did this and we the fans and our new owner will pay the price while Terence Brown sits happy knowing no one can touch him and his millions.
What a to$$er that man is!
He could stand up now and say it was my fault and I'll take the wrap, because it's not like he will ever be in football again.
But he won't....spineless, a totally spineless individual
