comment on the article

Jonathan Stead scored a priceless equaliser for Sheffield United which keeps Charlton in the bottom three.

Talal El Karkouri put Charlton ahead after 59 minutes when his 35-yard shot took two deflections and crept in.

But ten minutes later, Stead levelled matters with a sweetly-struck goal from the edge of the area.

Charlton threatened a winner when Zheng Zhi volleyed wide but the Blades deservedly held on for the point which boosts their survival hopes.

Give your thoughts on the match - who do you think will stay up?

Well done blades, good result. 3 points against watford then its nearly job done. hop charlton can stay up at the expense of someone other than the blades. i think charlton deserve to stay up with the squad of plays you have and after the fight back when it seemed you were dead a buried. COME ON YOU RED AND WHITE WIZAAAARDS!!!

WHAT a point for Sheffield United. And what a goal by Jon 'Goal Machine' Stead.

Its not nice to pour cold water over Charltons hopes, but it does look (very much) as if the fight has been lost now!

Blackburn away may produce a point, at most, whereas the last two games, home to Spudz and away to Liverpool -look very hard games to get anything from... still, we can dream can't weerm

Don't worry Charlton-1 win and Fulham are going down-cannot see them getting ANY more points, so we are both safe(if we win 1 more and you do too).

As a Charlton supporter I'm worried now we've blown it, we needed a win yesterday. I reckon Sheff Utd would be safe anyway even if they had lost yesterday as they will beat Watford and Wigan. I hope we both do it and meet in the Premiership next season but am concerned that we have blown it.

I agree with Tim, I can see Blades and Charlton staying up at the expense of Fulham!

Fulham are away at Arsenal then at home to Liverpool, which means no points for them and suddenly the last game away to Boro (who don't lose many at home) looks like it could be their last in the Prmeiership!

Oh well, their ground suits the Championship better than BDTBL!

Come on United, we can do it! Let's hope Watford play like losers and not like a team playing for pride!

I agree with ZBrill, I think Fulham will do well to get even 1 more point. Maybe none if Blackburn still believe they have a chance of UEFA cup place (I don't beileve that myself though).

Not an Addicks fan, but know just what ur going through as we're in same predicament at moment and have a lot of respect for Pardew as a manager(he says it as it is). Hope u lads survive so that Pards gets a good crack with a full season in front of him. Hate to say it, but hope Sheff U stay up one more season, just so we get some more money for Hulse, so here's to Fulham for the drop then ! keep ur chins up.LUFC - MOT winkeye
