Hamilton is overrated. Kubica would have done the same had he been in one of the two best cars on the grid. Big deal! In fact, Heidfelt or any number of drivers would have achieved the same. Hamilton just lucky that he got a drive at one of the two best teams at the beginning. On the other hand, shows how overrated Luckonso is! When not driving the best car by a mile, he is an average plodder!

I agree that Ferrari don't need a new driver now. And maybe I should have said "at someone else's expense or gain." When Schumacher joined Ferrari in 1996 he had been driving for Benetton since 1991. It was only when he started winning that they took him on.

Hamilton is definately not overated, the kid is good and full of promise, and as someone pointed out,he has done something which has not been achieved in formula one, three podium finishes in his first three races...give some credit where it is due. Having said that it is too early to start making any assumptions, let's be patient and see how it unfolds..

The last thing that anyone should be doing is bigging-up F1 drivers, from whatever nation they hale. F1 is symptomatic of everything that's wrong with the human race.

I find it quite frightening...

Hamilton has driven outstandingly on 2 circuits he doesnt know. Alot of the coming races are on tracks he has raced before AND WON. If he gets a win at barcelona or nurburgring it could definately start a big push for him personaly in the WDC

To all those saying that Hamilton is LUCKY to be in the McLaren - why do you think Ron put him in it? He's not lucky, he is a very talented driver and that's why he is there. He will win the championship more than once and will be one of the best.

Not really a F1 fan, but now I'm hooked since this young rookie Lewis Hamilton came on the scene, this guy is a rare find, 7 starts 1 third, 4 seconds, 2 wins, all podium finishes! this is awesome! this guy will go on to take F1 to new heights, this guy will go on to make F1 history, way to go Lewis Hamilton! keep the winning ways up!
