Worthington Appointed Caretaker

Leicester City
comment on the article

Well, now that Nigel will takeover for our last five games, what can he possibly do to revive a lacklustre team? Will it make any difference at all? And do you think MM will keep him on for the full-time position?

Levein was out of his depth at City. Scottish Football outside of the big 2 Glasgow clubs is very average at best. His decision to take all those hearts players plus Rab from Celtic prooves he underestimated the strength of the championship. Only KIsnorbo has proved a good signing, the others were not up to the required standard. He put them all on 3 year contracts, which was a big mistake. Clubs of leicester's size cannot afford big pay contracts unless they are proven at the top level. The players he bought from Scotland were not. I cringe whern I see Rab's Bently in the car park on matchdays! Overpaid , overated, over the hill!

Be carefull Ram boy, you may yet still be playing us next year. P.S you were crap at your place and won only because of the inept referee and linesperson, who ruled out a perfectly good City goal. P.S I referree games at a local level!
Also, you were not that bright against us at our place, and 1-1 against a very poor leicester side at present shows you are still inconsistent. Fancy the play offs do ya!

ram boy, the fat lady aint singing yet, maybe you should lay off thosE woolley backs, its affecting your judgement!! yes you got 4 points of us this year, but with better refereeing it should have ben only the one, that disallowed goal at Prideless park, and the stonewall penalty at the Walkers,
As regarding the empty seats, would you pay out to see a poor side when its free on your TV, and the most diappointing aspect of that game was the your fans, If we were top of the league, we would be chanting more than; "sheepshag army" once, "super Derby, super rams" once, and "we are top of the league" once. and before you reply I'm a season ticket holder at the Walkers Stadium sitting very close to the away support. Come on Leicester fans, lets back Nigel and the boys to the hilt, get three points the which should be enough to safegaurd our survival, then we can relax and let the blues take 3points of us to regain their 2nd place behind the mackems!
COME ON LEICESTER !!!!!

Why are so many people jumping on wortho's back already, people want him out before hes had a chance to prove himself!
Personally I dont think he is the man to take us to the prem (if we ever get there) but im definatly giving him my support and backing and giving him the chance to prove what he can do before I start calling for his head.

Leicester City are a good side and don't deserve to be playing League One football. I doubt they would be relegated with Worthington or without him as the standard of football played by the bottom four is pretty poor so I doubt Leicester will be relegated.

Bit worried about Leicester, but not for this season. Nice coincidence that Worthy's first game is against Norwich... no wonder he took the job!

Brave but much needed stylish decision by MM.
His reasoning for the change was correct and hopefully we will get the 4 points needed to be safe this season. If you carefully look at Nigel's record it is infinitely better than any of our managers since Martin, so lets get behind him and hope he provides us and our owner with another one season in the Championship before we follow Sunderland to the premiership next season.
