Man U&Chelsea join Liverpool in semis?

Liverpool
comment on the article

Before anyone mentions that Liverpool have to finish the job tomorrow night, let's just assume for now that they are through. Yes we were beaten 6-3 at home this season in the Carling Cup, by Arsenal, playing a second string.

Having said that....will Man U and Chelsea be in the semis?

Man U have the better chance in my opinion, unless Roma score and Man U will then need at least two. Chelsea have a tougher job. Valencia already have an away goal and are on home turf.

My predictions

Man U 1 Roma 0 (Man U go through)
Chelsea 0 Valencia 0 (Valencia go through)

Your thoughts?

Man U incredible, what a performance from the premiership leaders. We may not see such a result in the champions league at this stage for atleast another ten years. Chelsea equally showed class by composing themselves, remember they were under tremendous pressure. But came away with a deserved win against the odds. An audacious performance as well from Jose Mourinho`s troops.

I don't think Liverpool will reach the final this time. Jose will not lose out twice to Rafa I can tell you.

Jose thinks Rafa is pathetic with his childish "he started it first" school yard jibes.

I think the fat man is rattled already because he believed he would be facing Valencia instead of Chelsea.

Deep down Rafa is scared that not only will he lose out to Jose but that his club are on the verge of winning NOTHING this season!!!!!!

WHEN MAN U WAS 4-0 UP I TOLD MY FRIENDS THAT I FILL MAN U WILL SPELL "AS ROMA" WITH GOALS TONIGHT.

7-1 IS A SHAME TO ITALIAN CLUB. BUT HOPE A/C MILIAN WON'T SPOIL THIS PRIDE FOR MAN U FANS.

MAN U - CHELSEA FOR FINAL

CHELSEA WIN 2-1.

With key men out with injury (including the skipper), and with the press and mourinho pilling on the pressure after back to back defeats (one of which against roma) what do man utd do?

Destroy a top class side of roma 7-1 with a class out of this world. All seven goals of the highest calibre. Memories of monaco's 8-3 group-stage demolition of deportivo come to mind. However this game goes one better: quarter final, trailing from the 1st leg, and it wasnt just man utd, roma were fielding world class acts too; totti, de rossi, chivu...
Simply breath taking to watch and although i am not the 1st man utd fan to sing praises but no one can deny that was more than a world class peformance.

MAN U BEAT ROME 7-1 bra ..braaa bruuuu.... ALTHOUGH THAT IS A GREAT RESULT. CHELSEA COULD HAVE EQAULLY BEATING ROMA WITH LITTLE MARGIN LIKE 2-0.

BUT THE TRUTH IS THAT MAN U COULD NOT HAVE BEATING VALENCIA IN SPAIN.

SO CHELSEA DESERVE ALL THE PRAISE AND NOT MAN U! OK!

Chelsea have a little problem, they simply no having a SuperCenterHeavy-Tank named Rooney. And those who watched the matches knows that is the reason ( 7-1>2-1).
