Ireland v New Zealand

One-day internationals Ireland

Come on Ireland. Show some unexpected team work and win this match and stop critics’ mouth. As Ireland played through out the World Cup, everybody is thinking now they deserved a place for Test Cricket. I think they will improve their performance day by day and I also think they will be giant killer as now Bangladesh. I urge the ICC to give them the chance to play frequently as they gave it to Bangladesh. So you can see the results now.

On the other hand New Zealand is very strong side. They are a huge team for the World. They are favourites to win the World Cup. They have beaten Australia before the World Cup begun - it was a whitewash and shameful for the Aussies.

Anyway, today we are looking for a good game which will include entertainment, excitement and drama as happened in B’desh vs SA match. So come every one to hope a good game for waiting.

In his own words, he doesn't turn it much so was looking for variations in pace and break. He looked to me to be tossing it up nicely. Ran through the tailies like a dose of salts - every one a sucker ball. Like I said before: NZ a class act.

I can never understand why people go into competitions that they haven't a cat's chance in hell of winning.

Hilarious listening to Trent Johnson, Ireland skipper: "G'day mate, streuth!"

Oh Dear, Ern Not a cat in Hell’s chance? Like Cassius Clay against Sonny Liston, Greece in the European Championships, Bangladesh against the No 1 ODC team...

Come on, don't be so stuffy! All teams enter believing they have a chance, and it's great for cricket that new nations join the world game. China is in the World Cricket Federation. You think they'll have no chance?

Besides, it's not the winning that matters - as Ben Jonson, proved, it's the taking pot.

Anyway, cats have 9 lives so have a better chance in Hell than you or I

I like new zealand cricket team and hope they win the world cup ahead of england and australia. A fine powerful side with Oram the best all rounder in the world, vettori at present best spinner and generally a good strong unit.
