Its McClaren 1-2 at Malaysian GP

Formula One
comment on the article

I was sitting on the edge of my seat towards the end of the race not because McClaren are not going to win their first race this season but because Kimi was charging on British rookie driver. Gladly, Lewis stood the test of time and i am still saying he is a champion in waiting. Well done McClaren

That Hamilton bears comparison with what a double WDC did last season can only be positive for Hamilton.

Who else racing this year can we compare to Alonso?

One day someone will realise that the only way to re-introduce overtaking is to do away with front wings, and bring back ferrous brake discs.

I have to say I find current F1 very dull.
Untill the powers that be start to relise that fans like RACING not prosessions, we are in for the ride.
But I do sometimes wonder why I sit through them.

Isn't it weird that the first 6 drivers were the same in both melbourne and spepang only in different positions apart from heidfeild.

Poliprint is right: why they continue to allow wings and ANY drivers aid in F1 is beyond me. If they were banned we would see the difference between the talented and the rest. Hamilton has the best car and everyone says he is a genius. He is undoubtedly good, but I think Button or Davidson in a McLaren would be as good, if not better.
The only interesting part of the race lasted as long as it took Massa to go off the track. After that it was the usual procession.
Why not a 2 litre formula in a 24 car field? For security and to limit straight line speed, which would probably increase, I'd add weight to the cars. Make it all mechanical...
Wouldn't it be fun to see the 4 wheel drift and the 5 car fights come back?

I can't help thinking that if Hamilton was teamed with Montoya at McLaren this season and not Alonso he'd have won his first GP by now.

Don't berate Hamilton for being in a fast, reliable McLaren. Button negotiated his way through a string of underperforming cars.

That Hamilton secured a competitive race seat is a positive. In this case Hamilton has already achieved something Button has so far failed to do.
