MrRossko (U7001491) posted Apr 7, 2007 Seems obvious to me that we played better football when not hoofing it up to Carew. If we can retain the ball there's some promise. Carew is a good player but let's keep it to his feet (where he's pretty good too) or keep him on the bench to hold the ball up when we need to hang on to a result. Bardsley? Get back to Utd pal!

pentathlete (U6398887) posted Apr 7, 2007 Great to see Villa win and Gabby back up front but I never like to see us playing with just one striker. Would have a been a great opportunity to have tried Moore and Agbon together. MON says that its good for Gabby to learn another position (ie wing) but it makes no sense when the team's been struggling for goals and he (along with Luke Moore in my view) is arguably our most potent goal threat.

zizkovillain (U1499817) posted Apr 8, 2007 A vital three points. Our run in does'nt look too tricky, so I think its safe to assume we are safe. Lets strengthen over the Summer and this time next year will be the time to judge MON's impact on the club.

greatbongo (U7218738) posted Apr 10, 2007 I think next season most of our goals will come from Carew Moore and Agbonlahore. Maloney looks very good also. Barry looks set to stay in the middle giving Young Berger and Maloney a chance to team up together.
