Wigan 1-3 Bolton

Bolton Wanderers
comment on the article

Bolton midfielder Andranik Teymourian grabbed two superb second-half goals as Bolton came from behind to beat Wigan in a pulsating Lancashire derby.
The Iranian coolly sidefooted home his first after an exquisite El-Hadji Doiuf pass and he headed a powerful second from a fine Kevin Davies cross.

Emile Heskey put Wigan ahead from close range after some incisive build-up play saw Paul Sharner pull the ball back.

But Nicolas Anelka tapped in the equaliser following good work by Diouf.

A great result and from what I have heard a great second half performance.
A win against Everton on Monday would be fantastic and then follow it up with something out of the Arsenal game.
Who knows what the future holds? I don't want to get too excited but we seem to be putting the start of a run together at a very important time in the season.
Keep it up you White Men!!!!!!!

Bolton shirt haha. The Navy blue one :]

Had a good day today! We now need a win against Everton on monday and it will have been a brilliant weekend!

I think we played very well without Nolan in midfield. Andranik is such a star!

Did anyone see that argument goingon with Faye and Thompson? What was that all about?

I doubt I'm the only one who feared the worst when Heskey scored, but we showed great character to finally win at the home of the pie-eaters.

Here's to a few more victories over them!

Andranik looks to be more of an excellent find each and every time he plays.

Out of interest what was your views when Big Sam first signed Ando?? When he was an unknown to the Bolton fans???

I am a Cardiff City fan and a Closet Bolton fan, since I am Iranian!!

I did not here the best vibes when Ando signed on the Bolton official site etcetera, but to be fair its understandable... But I tell you what I was emailing the late Sam Hamman and Peter Risdale at Cardiff before the World Cup to snap Ando up, but no replies etcetera, but there we go.. You truly have a gem of a find in Ando.. give him the run he deserves and he will pay you back big time!

Yeh thats what i mean! Apparently Jussi was involved too.. they pushed at each other a bit - which isnt great, looked to have been sorted out pretty soon though! Speedo seemed to tell them to stop it and get on with it! And rightly so!!!!

bluebirdsal, I think the Bolton fans give all players a fair crack of the whip but when you have never heard of a player you can only hope that they come good and Andranik certainly looks the business at the moment. Let's hope that he does get a good run and proves his worth over a long period.
