TMS is quality. It kept me sane before i got Sky Sports and it still does during work. Henry Blofeld is amazing.

Well this game is proof that this Srilankan team will be winning the world cup this year. South African's are well aware, and are awefully indebted to a freaky edge that came from Pietersons blade to take them past the winning runs. It could have been another lethal Malinga the Slinga Toe Crusher, but let's let the South Africans enjoy the GBP 1,75,000 they will recieve from the ICC for the time being.
Well Srilanka have now reminded the rest of the teams, that they need gods help if they were to go past them just like South Africa did.
Thanks for a brilliant game in the end.

SA vs WI, SA vs NZ, and WI vs NZ will be the crucial matches.

AUS and SL will qualify for the final four. If there is one team that can upset AUS in the Super Eight series, that is SL. But, only if the raging buccaneer Jayasurya fires on all cylinders together with Sangakkara.

What an exiting game. It was clear that the new ball enabled runs to be scored but once it became a bit worn the bowlers had the better of it. This was demonstrated in the Sri Lanka innings and then repeated in the SA innings, I was waiting on the edge of my seat for the change. I was irritated immensely by the BBC radio 5 commentators banging on about some bug on the window; the drama was happening in the pitch? And I had no interest in the boring insect discussion.

binsley7, no we couldn't. there were no chuckers. SA nearly choked but scraped through.
in all probability at least one of these teams will progress.
