comment on the article Joe Lydon applying for the GB coaching job. He has absolutely no relevant coaching experience, and has been plying his trade in the kick and clap for the last few years. I would much rather give the role to an Aussie with talent and experience that a Brit who hasn't got a clue. He would probably just use it as a kick and clap scouting exercise anyway.

Wouldnt be suprised if they did go for him, they would try to use it as publicity then to show that League can take from Union and its not one way traffic (you know how stupid the people are that run the game), surely that would look ridiculous - Union take a promising youngster and we take a coach who hasnt been involved in league for years.

I can only think of one person that has coached both codes (Chris Anderson).

I agree that he should not be considered though for his lack of recent involvement in League.
