mrmrmario (U7803038) posted Mar 16, 2007 i believe that Wenger reacts in this manner to take the pressure of his players! Notice how none of the media has highlighted individual errors or performances. Similarily how often do we talk about individual chelsea players rather than mourinho who is also prepared to create scapecoats to protect his players

missgunnerf (U7790313) posted Mar 17, 2007 No one is to be blamed but the fact is Henry has had abad season with low form due to injuries and the entire season for arsenal has been ruined by injuries so you people tend to forget that.

tomikk (U7781414) posted Mar 17, 2007 While, yes, arsenal haven't spent their money on players, they have spent it on a brand new stadium, which when added to increased player's wages becomes a much higher total than that of the other clubs you mentioned... The failure is that Arsenal are no longer left in a fight for any of the champions league, FA Cup, League Cup, or even the Premiership, as fighting for a 3rd or 4th place is completely insignificant.

jchibs (U1389515) posted Mar 17, 2007 not blaming Domench for Henrys injuries but it is sad that in meaningless friendlies he plays non Arsenal premiership players for 45 mins yet plays Gallas and Henry for 90mins. This makes Domench look petty and sad. He has a personal issue with Wenger so takes it out on his players. Could you imagine if McClown played the Man utd boys for longer then the Chelsea boys in a meaningless friendly. There would be uproar.

mjbarnes (U3002977) posted Mar 19, 2007 Perhaps it is time for Henry to settle this argument. If he is as committed to Arsenal as we hope, then he should retire from International football - much like Shearer and Scholes did with England. Totally shafted the national team but showed committment to those that pay their wages.

jeanalpha (U6801191) posted Mar 21, 2007 Wenger is a great manager but he has the big weakness of refusing to accept his defeat. He is never the guilty one when Arsenal is not doing well. When it is not the FA, is the bad tactic of opponents, when it is not this, it´s something else...
