Hats off to brave CelticEuropean Football Celtic by David Sharp - BBC Sport (U7645467) 07 March 2007 I'm a Gers fan but I must admit that Celtic deserve lots of credit for pushing Milan all the way in the Champs League tonight - if it hadn't been for the brilliance of Kaka who knows what might have happened? In saying that, if it hadn't been for the brilliance of Artur Boruc it could have been 5-0 to Milan!! Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

TommyJProGolfer (U7203196) posted Mar 8, 2007 As a Celtic fan, I was really pleased to see us push ac milan for 180 minutes. I thought teh 2 young centre-backs were awesome, especially O'Dea. As a 20 year old, he could have easily let the occasion get to he, but him and mcmanus were just sublime. Boruc too, I think he is a world class keeper, and I hope they can just keep hold if him if any big clubs come begging!!

Floridadweller (U6991922) posted Mar 8, 2007 Very enjoyable game to watch, despite the result. Like most of Celtic's SPL games, though, you keep wondering who is going to score the goals. It would have been nice to see Riordan getting a chance up front with Jan. Why Strachan keeps someone he has called the 'most natural' goalscorer on the team--Riordan-- sitting on the bench is a mystery. All the Celts played well defensively, with a few lapses. But they were pretty toothless in attack. You might attribute that to good Milan defending, but Celts have sputtered a bit in attack all season. All of this sounds a bit over-critical, I suppose, given Celtic's dominance in the SPL. Sunday's Old Firm game should be a cracker. Smith has done wonders with reviving Rangers. Sunday should be an indication if their improvement is for real

TrevHol1 (U7784240) posted Mar 14, 2007 As an Arsenal fan, I just wish to say that Celtic were exceptionally unlucky to lose as they really gave Milan a hard run for their money. The Bhoys are absolutely peerless when it comes to pride and passion for their club, and I hope they are back in Europe more determined and more successful next year. Thanks, fellas!
