Reading VS Man Utd what a game we have. The Premiership fixture was a good entertaining score draw and Reading were winning the first 70 mins of the game. But do you believe Reading can beat Man Utd in the F.A Cup?

only rio and vds will play on sat! well done to the reserves tho, as it was them that caused the replay, it is fitting that it is them that put us through to the next round!

Boro should expect full strength squad next weekend. with no midweek games after the boro fa cup game, man utd can afford to rest all the big guns legs for a full week to the bolton clash at OT

this is a man utd fan. other guy is chelsea fan

man utd had the best start ever, wiv 3 goals in 6 minutes.

but we played so sloppy in the second half. our midfield we doin sloppy passes and lost possesion to much. fletcher lost possesion to let readin score.
saha should have been subbed off earlier in the game, and park shuld have been subbed off. he didnt pass and he was tryin to take them on himself. ronaldo should have taken his place.

but thankfully man utd won.

As a long-time Reading fan I naturally expected them to lose after being 3-0 down, but full marks to them for their remarkable recovery, and they almost did it, didn't they? They made United look bad after their great start, but if you give a team such an easy start you only have yourselves to blame. It made for an exciting game though. Bad luck lads but at least you turned things around and went down fighting.

Is this thread setting some kind of record ?

Must be at least a dozen people asking the same question re Bikey, despite it having been answered several times !

NO - Bikey wasn't booked twice !!!!
The BBC got it wrong for some reason, anyone at the game would have seen that it was De La Cruz who was harhsly yellow carded whilst Bikey was trying to point out to the ref that it was Adebayor who should have been booked.

It seems to me that Richardson and Saha tend to over do it when they do get a chance in the 1st team. Its as if they want to take 5 men on before scoring a wonder goal in order to get the gaffer's attention and maybe a bench spot in the next game. Fletcher's never been good enough on the ball and whilst he and O'Shea can win the ball they both give it away just as often thus negating their presence in the team. Please Sir A, NEVER play them both in the middle again. sPark played well though and his engine and attitude makes up for his naiivity in front of goal.

Well done Reading. Coppells a legend and you'll stay in the Prem a while with performances like that.

As a neutral I was looking forward to Reading giving United a stern test, but after the first 6 mins I nearly went for the remote.

Glad I didnt. All credit goes to Reading, although United probably would have played better if they hadn't had the luck from Reading's terrible start in defense, it would have been an even tighter match had this been the case, and I think Fergie would have bricked it and stuck on all 3 subs early in the 2nd half.

United were nothing short of shocking after half time and were dominated by Reading. I would be disgusted watching that if i was a United supporter. Who do they think they are? Richardson is a joke and I didn't see much 'quality' from Wes Brown, come to think of it Ferdinand didn't look great did he?

Wouldn't want to see that kind of complacent rubbish in an England shirt - drop John Terry? You're having a right laff!

Why do Chelsea fans come on here and moan about Utd playing bad and winning? As far as i remember isn¡¦t that how you won the title last year?

In regards to Fletcher and Richardson in particular, I think we would benefit from them both being sold to Celtic and Rangers respectively whom I¡¦m sure would welcome them with open arms.

I don't complain about ManU playing badly and still winning..... I could care less.
I do point out that they are due a run of bad luck which will cost them the league.
They are playing badly and all it takes is for a team to beat them and the wheels will come off the wagon.
anfield on Saturday..... Looks dodgy wouldn't you say?
