Chelsea 2 - 1 Arsenal

Didier Drogba grabbed both goals as Chelsea came from behind to win the Carling Cup at the Millennium Stadium.

Theo Walcott gave Arsenal the lead when he ghosted around Ricardo Carvalho before sidefooting past Petr Cech.

Chelsea soon equalised when Drogba was given the benefit of the linesman's flag to slot home and with six minutes to go he headed in a powerful winner.

The game ended on a sour note with John Mikel, Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor sent off after an ugly clash.

Give your thoughts on an eventful match.

I am sure Gary Charles may disagree as he looks at the stud marks on his cehst from Gazza in the FA Cup Final ...... Style and dignity? about a thuggish act that had less dignity that Matty Taylors tackle on saturday.

it was garry parker with gazzas studmarks tattooed on his chest,

gary charles was the one he cropped when he wrecked his knee

cheeky_nffc_disgraced_former (M.O.C.A),

Exactly.

ok

Dont you just love it when people gob off but get their facts completely wrong?

doh

Both tackles were bookings to be fair though so we should of been down to 10 men.

It would of been harsh to book him whilst being stretchered off though i suppose.

I stand corrected regarding Parker and Charles, andbow to "the mighty spurs shows how to play and win a trophy with style and dignity."

The facts WEREN'T wrong just the names, but don't let the facts get in the way of the truth about style and grace.

when they beat us in 91, in all fairness spurs did show verve and dignity to come back.

Straeh,

The facts WEREN'T wrong just the names, but don't let the facts get in the way of the truth about style and grace.

--------------------------

Of course the facts were wrong, you said Gary Charles instead of Gary Parker.

If i said Gazza was Prime Minister would you say i got my facts right or wrong?

Think about it.

whistle

Anyway, i'm not arguing with you, it is actually quite sad that you had to think of an incident back in 1991 in an attempt to back up your point. Anyone would think you were still bitter about Sunday.

winkeye

Its a good job you're not biased either because Chopper Harris was such a fair player in his day.

Not bitter at all offered my congrulations to many Spurs fans.

The one upmanship you try to convey, after winning one trophy is quite sad, a good day enjoy it but to keepthrowing it in other teams faces is only going to mean it will come back double when Spurs hit a down turn.

Dignity and style are something you could learn from the team you follow.

Mate, i was only trying to defuse the little petty slanging match we found ourselves in.

No offence intended.

Thank you for the congrats, it shows a fans maturity to do that.

Many Spurs fans may keep throwing it in teams faces because lets face it, we're hardly going to have anything else to shout about for a while are we?

This reminds me of a time some years ago when i used to work with a really annoying female Arsenal fan (even all the Arsenal fans in our building used to cringe at her) annnnyway, this particular year Spurs won their 1st 3 games of the saeson & were therefore top. So, i copied the league table & stuck it on her desk.

She came back from lunch piping up with "You'll never be there at the end of season blah blah".

And i just sat there saying "Of course we wont, why do you think i'm having to copy it now?".

She just tore it up & stormed off to a loud cheer & a few handbag gestures.

I seem to have got a bit carried away here. Sorry.

If you want to know any other of my life stories just ask.

Stupid Cockerel.

Well good luck to Spurs and kick on from here, just knock the arrogant Arsenal WUMS of their North London rocky perch, as much as the injury to Eduardo was tragic you would think that Arsenal were dependant on him the way they have reacted......
