Losses Down

Chelsea

I must say it is nice to see Chelsea's losses going in the right direction because this might take the pressure off alot of the other teams lower down the league that are most effected by the higher prices.

It does seem like Chelsea's vision of a couple of year very high investment and then they will be up with the biggest clubs in Europe might have been a little hopeful. Not saying you wont get there but you are not there now.

Any Thoughts

I don't personally think you can knock Chelsea's football. I mean, winning the prem twice in a row is not a stroll in the park, and they are hardly dead and burried this season either. Perhaps their football has not been as pretty as Arsenal's, but they are far more consistent, and lets face it, a bigger threat to play against. The team might not have gelled as well as United and Arsenal (I personally don't think this years purhcases have helped - Bridge should never have been sidelined for ACole, Gallas should have been drugged like BA in The A-Team and forced to stay, the midfield became unballanced and patchy introducing an AM (Ballack) to work alongside Lampard (a familiar problem suffered by England) and Shevchenko was the biggest waste of money since West Ham brought out gift pen's with 'Premiership' written on them.)

However, I still enjoy watching them play - if only for outstanding individual performances from the likes of Drogba and Essien, and I would never say thier football is in anyway poor.

Listen pal, Roman didn't buy the other two for the EXACT reason i stated. As such what is the reasoning behind your post????

And what do u mean he can't sell off the Bridge? The other day it was muted that the Chelsea think tank was pondering the prospect of buying Earls Court flattening it, and buliding a new 80,000 seater there. the cost? about £400m, and this apparently would be off set buy the sale of the bridge to developers for £500 - £600m.

AS for your Liverpool bit, i don't have the first clue what your on about.

He's saying that Moores should have sold to DIC because they are richer but in fact he's wrong.

It's not just a question of who's got most. The rich have to be able and willing to spend and have a good plan for the club.

If Moores sold to the Americans it wasn't for a few million more. He wasn't happy with the business plan when it became clear that DIC might later sell it off for a profit.

The problem with Chelsea people is that they can't grasp that kind of feeling.

I wonder how many players chelsea has bought that is generating so much contrversy as if chelsea has already bought all the players in the soccer market. The cost of players really does not determine their skills. Arsenal's squard is an example. How much did their manager have to spend to get them. Players are being bought from lossing clubs and same player make wave in other clubs. Lets not make excuses for lossing clubs. Chelsea suffered it too with several injured players. Lets give credit to my man Jose (chelsea manager)who talks his club victory .

Chelsea is by every means and standard one of the biggest clubs in the world today regardless of the yard stick for measurement.

I find it difficult to understand why people wont accept the success of jose,he has single handedly changed the premier league with his style.Other clubs like Man U obviously are rich and they pay their players as much as chelsea does. So its not all about money its about the man with the winner touch, jose. i admire and respect him.

Chelski are rubbish, play rubbish football (very boring yawn) the stats prove they can't fill the stadium every week. Lets face it roman will leave in about 3 years and the club will sink

Roman has the money let him spen it. Money becomes useless when it cant get what you want. He bought chelsea when it was about to go into administration. This means chelsea was drowning.Who can be bold enough to by drwning club? Its only Roman. Though he had to spend so much money be he is been able to turn chelsea into a club that attracts world attention in such a short period with the premiership title bact to back. And THEY ARE WINNING THE PREMIERSHIP AGAIN, THE FA LEAGUE,CALINK AND THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AS WELL.

mate this is a COLOSSAL contradiction in conditions, but as you are Chelsea I think I understand what u are trying to say. After all, how many other ‘big club’ could put 250k fans on the streets of their home town to celebrate an historic double ???????

Got me stumped.
