More money for boxing is good news. The ABA has been doing fantasically well of late, and it was an absolute disgrace that we took only one boxer to the last Olympics. Thankfully that one boxer was Amir Khan who captured the imagination of the public on the way to a silver medal.

The recent showing by our boxers at the Commonwealth Games was very impressive, taking home a brilliant 12 medals. There's every chance that Beijing will see some British Gold Medal winners in the ring, and that by London 2012, boxing will be able to win more medals than athletics.
