stanessel (U3112937) posted Feb 2, 2007 I think Mourinho should learn from the way Arsene Wenger manages the games his players play. To play all of these "Senior" players and not give them rest allows them to be fatigued and that can also lead to player injury.

I think he has been negatively influenced, especially by the trollop hes married and peter kenyon at chelsea before the move. I hope he recovers soon but i cant say i am devastated with the news. I will remember the good times with cole, mainly 2002 and 2004 where at the euros he was our best player for england.

Keelanthegooner (U7250263) posted Feb 2, 2007 I have to say youre being a bit harsh on wenger there. He was always accused of showing no passion and when he does (even though both cases werent his best moves) he gets slated even more. Lose-lose situation for the great man. I think jose has done the premiership a good service making it more intrigueing but he is a bit of an "but this, but that, if it weren't for this or that" man. Hes not the best talent finder either. People like fergie and wenger have spotted relative unknowns and bought them in whilst jose has only really bought either hyped players or already established ones.

axman2526 (U7331136) posted Feb 2, 2007 Ok, Keelanthegooner, i never said Wenger is not a top boss, he's got my respect for all his footballing achievements and he is the best at spotting unknown or young talent. I dont debate this, what i debated is his status as a role-model to anybody, Cantona was a great player but is nowhere near a role-model in my eye's, same goes for wenger. I've never thought he lacks passion, he clearly loves arsenal and has been a great servent to our league, but his overal persona, is not up to role-model level's, not that i'm saying Jose is either. Now take Gianfranco Zola, the greatest embassedor for football we could ever have asked for.

axman2526 (U7331136) posted Feb 2, 2007 ohound, rubbish you say, so what of my saying wenger has great qualitys in finding hidden talent and developing youth is rubbish. Or mabye you think he is a contender to win humanitarian of the year? 10 odd years of wenger, 2 plus year of Jose, so at a club like arsenal, i'd bloody well expect wenger to have one more trophys in england! So money is the decding factor, in that case you'd have won nothing while united spent the most, but hey you did win stuff. even though fergie is the best around. there, no tinted glasses, regardless of what you think, fergie is the best, not wenger or jose, hell jose has only been here a sort time. Learn to accept that even your hero's are human, so they have faults, did i actually ever say jose is better than wenger? dont believe i did, why do people skim through and think they know me! wenger is a great manager -full stop. He spends less dosh than jose -full stop. he has won more -full stop, but is far older and managed far longer -full stop. But, has he won a european trophy? jose has, uefa cup and champios league -FULL STOP. Comment on this articleMY RELATED LINKSThe BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites |
