What does everyone else think? Will Mido help us enough at a cost of 3 million. He is another player who works well with a goalscorer but that is what we are missing. He doesnt score many. We need another Shaun Goater not another Samaras/Corradi.

yeh couldnt agree more with you routeledge should be a top transfer target he could be as good as shaun once he gets an end product mido would be another corradi BIG MISTAKE waste of money. routeledge and murphy from tottenham for 4million. sounds within our small transfer budget.

I would agree that Mido is not what we need, proven goalscorers cost money that City do not have. If we are talking to Spurs I would prefare it to be about Robbie Keene as he is one of the best strikers around also he always scores when playing against City so we would be doing something about that also.

Re: isn't it sad that the club who could get names like Bell, Lee, Summerbee, Marsh, Francis etc. is scrabbling around trying to find someone in the bargain-basement?

Bell, Lee and Summerbee were bargain buys from lower divisions. The spending on Marsh, Francis etc. was the start of the money problems at City (even though I always enjoyed watching Marsh). Players such as Steve Daley, Lee Bradbury and many more have put us in the current situation and reckless spending won't improve things.

Mido will do OK for 3 million.

He's better than flaming Corradi and Dickov.

Mido at 3 million or maybe on loan as a start would be a good deal for City. Last season he was a regular starter for Spurs and scored more than 10 goals (how many City strikers have scored 10 this season or last??). He is difintely a much better striker than Corrado or Dikov and can make a decent striking force with either Vasselor Samaras.

if i were pearce i would get mido on loan for the rest of the season and see if he is better than we have already.
we definately need an attcking midfielder such as danny murphy at totenham. He's not bin playing very much since his move to spurs last year.

Danny Murphy - come on. He is crap.

Ireland for me. I like watching the youngsters play well at City!!!

Latest - Distan + 3 million for Mido? Not sure about that!! I wouldn't want to lose Distan this season, nor next to be honest. Come on Distan sign up for City.

However Mido on loan or for 3 mill would be ok. As we all agree he is better than Dickov and Corradi.
