Leave Warnock alone!

I disagree with all the anti-Warnock sentiment being banded around, people claiming that he only ever says negative things about the opposition are just wrong, he regularly shows respect to other teams and on occasion even gives credit when it's due. He's a rare commodity in football management, heís a fan, not just of the game but a fan of the team he manages and because of it he shows some passion at the matches, which seems to upset people.

Thereís no question he gets caught up in the moment and Iím sure the crusty old types that run the game would rather he subdue all feelings, let alone dare to show them from the bench, but man I love seeing the passion he brings, donít get me wrong Iím overjoyed that in Steve Coppell we have his antithesis, but leave Neil alone and let him do it his way.

Anyway, I like the blades, we had a right old tussle with them last season and think the team spirit they show should be rewarded with an extended stay in the prem, also they always help us out by donating points whenever they can and next season we could be witnessing the greatest ever Warnock performance as theyíre pitted against pennilaess neighbours Wednesday.

Long live the blades!

I agree entirley with all the comments you've made....the man's a baffoon, always has been and always will be. I've never questioned his Passion for our Club and in his endevour to help the Clubs cause for success.. BUT he has the Personality of a Dead fish and I'm totally embarressed every time he opens his post match mouth... I can assure you that the few BLINKERED BLADES that stand his corner are the "The Few" The most of us think he is just a liabilty and constantly gives our club the bad repartation that isn't at all warrented.

Warnocks an idiot - to say he is a "character" in the game is a joke. Don't think I've ever heard him say anything good about another team or player he just whinges about referees and this big conspiracy theory against him!! He needs to spend less time moaning about things and more time concentrating on his own team,

I want to add that Neil Warnock is also the reason that I hate Sheffield United. With a passion, and I have no reason to.

He's a self righteous arrogant idiot who should know better than to act the way he does in the position he is in.

I hope Sheffield United go down this season, they're a bunch of useless hacks anyway and will continue to be under Warnock.

What decent player wants to come in and play under him?

Warnock is a total monkey. He's bleats on like a small child "anyone to blame but me and my team.... beat-bleat, bleat-bleat".... The only person I despise more is "There was something in my eye" Wenger, who's myopic tendancies make me fume with anger. As for Gillespie's antics at Reading last Saturday.... what a novice. Hunt is a good little player. Just to add - you punch like a girl Gillespie.

"Take Arsenal for example, they are such a quiet bunch of followers, but who can blame them. How can an east end cockney get passionate about watching a bunch of foreigners run around wearing their colours. Im not saying that they can't support them, but they will never understand the emotion that goes threw a fan when watching a team like Sheffield United."

Rubbish. Don't display your myopic view of life by dragging us into this. Coppell is English, is he not? How passionate is he? I have stronger language in mind but this board is not the place for it. I'm as foreign as they come and I have lost my voice on quite a few occasions screaming my support for Arsenal. Spare me that "foreigners don't show passion C R A P". Don't go around making idiotic generalisations.

Rant over. As for Warnock, he does strike me as the kind of coach who doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. Sometimes a good thing, sometimes a bad thing. He has an annoying tendency to open his mouth before thinking but I guess he's human so we'll allow for quite a few flaws.

Warnock is great as he gives people something to talk about. You can tell from his face that he is enjoying every second of being in the premiership and good on him. He's no Wenger or Ferguson, he'd be the first to admit that. He's a loud mouth with strong opinions, most of which, surprisingly, are quite accurate.

He's at the complete opposite end of the spectrum to Steve Coppell. You've got a great manager there Royals fans, but my God, that guy is dull!!!

If every manager was like Coppell, Post match interviews would not be worth watching, Warnock gives it a bit of spice.

If you think Coppell is dull, then your sense of humour is some what stunted. Coppell is one of the funniest Managers when interviewed. He is dry and very witty. Just because he doesn't use vitriolic sounds bites, doesn't make him dull.
