The game was just a case of how many, we were never under any trouble apart from 5 minutes after they scored they came forward a bit

But we always looked like scoring a few, i wnet down for a pish and missed the last 2 goals but i seen Vennegoor's 3 on the screens

Beattie and Vennegoor looked a good partnership

Gravesen sprayed the ball about well

everyone else did ok

I thought big sno looked class again when he came on

Jarosik was pants never getting involved

King Kenny on the scoresheet AGAIN!

all in all it was a good day, apart from the weather

And it was nice to see us pick up our first trophy of the season............

The Best Football Groundstaff in the UK

Championees...... Championees......... ole....... ole........ole!

Mind last time ye played Dunfermline Andy? Same players. You don't suddenly become a deceny team over night. 2 in a row, 5 out of 7.

AC Milan must be quaking in their boots

At least we're there...not quite the mighty Villarreal, but we'll make do. ok

Funny how one decent victory and the Ugly People feel it necessary to post on the Celtic boards.

Best of luck in the "Euro" Cup again next year, bawbag winkeye

A few chances missed in the first half that almost came back to haunt Celtic after McGinn's great strike. The silly push by Larkin on Shunsuke in the box killed what might have been a bit of a revival for the Saints, and then the floodgates opened. It's a real mystery why Riordan doesn't get a start in some of these games, but is brought on only near the end. An embarrassment of riches, perhaps? I can't think of any Celtic attacker who is playing so well that Riordan doesn't merit a full game. Mind you, you can hardly criticize Strachan's selections when he's got Celtic so far ahead in the SPL.

a great competent , and very refreshing display today by the bhoys playing some really great stuff in 2 halfs for a change was nice to see aswell.

in hesselink i think now we have finally a striker that we have missed for several weeks .. 10 goals in 12 games , 3 as a sub , not a bad return eh ?

the lad o"dea looked very assured yet again and gets better the more i see him.
gravesen and jarosik was a change in the middle of the park and looked good especially gravesen some of his range of passing was great to watch ..and has a nice eye for goal aswell.

also when the lad sno came on as a sub i think he just oozes class imo think we have unearthed a real gem here and how confident and assured this lad is at 19 , a star in the making here.

5-1 toffee.. as for the teddy bears , anything u can do and all that ... 20 points clear .. over to you ..

p.s. enjoy.the dogfight.=).

king kenny retired years ago doh

and what do you mean AGAIN ?

he hasnt scored in 15 games, the 2nd time he's went through a spell like that this season.

the sooner we get rid of him the better.

Bring on AC Milan, I reckon the football we r playin we could beat any1. Jan vennegoor of hesselink is gonna b a celtic legend in a few years, and wouldn't it b brilliant if he scored the winner in Milan in the champions league??

kenny miller has scored 3 champions league goals this season,he can play when teams push up the park , as this hardly happens in the spl he will always stuggle, but in the elite competition he is very handy.
