Kenyon Confirms

Premiership Chelsea
by Chelsea logic (U2465407) 18 January 2007
comment on the article

Peter Kenyon has now confirmed what I have been telling you all along that there was no crisis at Chelsea but pure speculation and fabrication of unrest by the media.

Chelsea have taken a firm stance that they will not always reply to stories in the press after the stick they got over the Gallas saga via statements made through the Chelsea website aimed for their fans.

Kenyon has stated that Jose Mourinho is happy at the club and life in London and will see out his contract which runs to 2010.

Hopefully this will put matters to bed.

Also Shevchenko has also expressed his frustrations towards the press that he was subject to such fabricated stories of stirring up trouble between his manager and owner of the club. He too is stating he has no desire to leave the club and will fight for his place in the team.

It was only 2 weeks ago that Roman made a statement which the press conveniently ignored. In that speech he stipulated he had most respect for Jose Mourinho and that Jose respected his position as owner. He also made it clear that he has not interfered with team issues and will leave all aspects of running his club to his management and staff.

I will repeat, There is no crisis at Chelsea Fc.

Rvvm,

I really thought Kenyon made some reassurances last season on Jose's future.

It was just a week before Jose's departure that Kenyon said Jose still plays a major part in the future of the clubs success. What he didn't say was that Jose was going to be sacked next weekgrr

Still, I'll support the club through rain and the sunshine and will always fight my corner with or without Mr "You can't believe everything I say" Kenyon!!!!!

laugh

I had forgotten about this classic, until it appeared at the top of the pile, nice one Ray Sting.

Hey Logic , do you reckon that your best player (Drogba)is going to stay at Chelsea after the Summer? whistle

Hopefully. If it does go I would like to see Berbatov as a replacement.

One thing is for sure, the most productive midfielder in the world is staying put. Lampard of course!whistle

Still although Kenyon is a liar he did after all appoint Avram who has turned out to be a very good manager. He has had more injuries to deal with than Jose yet has got through tough times more better. More points gained over a hard Christmas period without key players and still fighting for 4 trophies. Well done Avram. So life goes on without Jose it seems.

Paisley, do you think Rafa will be sacked at the end of the season?

Are you happy with the rafalution?

If Liverpool fail to win sod all again this season do you think Gerrard will want to leave?

Chelsea wouldn't want Gerrard now for Ballack is looking twice the player of Gerrard lately and Lampard is a legend at the club.

Dunno, but I certainly don't believe everything that is printed in the papers. The yanks are more interested in the dollar so their eyes it wouldn't be financially viable to sack him.

Are you happy with the rafalution?

Yes, in comparison the the later days of Houlliers reign the club has come a long way. We are still short in a few departments and Rafa needs to be able to to do the transfer dealings he requires to generate funds. The yanks will also have to put their hans in their pockets, which is less likely.

Sadly, it isn't possible for you to comment on footnball without mentioning your beloved Lampard and your nemisis Gerrard. I find this hilarious, but somewhat sad.

Interestingly, Gerrard has as many assists and goals this season than Ballacks and Lampard combined totals in the Premiership and even more in Europe.

Yet played 20 games more than Ballack and 10 games more than Lampard.

Ballack missed 4 months with injury and Lampard so far 9 weeks. Even then Lampard isn't too far behind.

Gerrard will not score or assist 20 goals this season like he never has from centre midfield all of his career.

Get over it!

No numnuts,

Lampard has played 15 games in the Premiership this season and Gerrard has played 17.

In all comps you twit.

You mentioned Europe as well. How long has Gerrard been out injured this season? Lampard 9 weeks so far.

Are you sure Gerrard hasn't played more league games than just 2 more. I haven't checked but for such a lengthily lay off Lampard surely has played much less games even in the league.

Lampard has missed the last 3 games and Gerrard played all 3 of Liverpool's last games so this already is looking unrealistic. Lampard also missed many Internationals and champions league games this season than Gerrard and possibly cup games. All in all that amounts to 10 games and Gerrard has made 1 more assist but scored any more?

Not that convincing is it? Most of Gerrard's goals are penalties and deflections this season anywaylaugh Did he dive for the pens as well?

You are about as accurate with the above as you were with your Kenyon Confirms 'ballacks' laugh

It's quite true logic. Check if you don't believe it.
