BigUTDBoi (U6833860) posted Jan 17, 2007 As a Manu fans from "Asia", i think he can make us suprise...not mention abt the marketing ploy...They can buy someone that famous in china...but why Dong...i keep thinkin that SAF has sth to show us. he want to show us that this dude has got talent. anyway, EPL is the hardest League in the world to day...he will benefit from playin in this league and you will see that Dong will show that why SAF choose him.

foaley04 (U4083630) posted Jan 17, 2007 Well, in reply to piro fusion... How many other asian players have come to united apart from jsp, and, comparing him to sheva? Whats your point, shev is 32, dong is 21, and they are completely different players. Dongs record for antwerp? 36 in 61? Incredible for a 18-21 year old who cannot speak the language, let alone play in that sort of league before. Plus, how many other players can put the ball on their heads and run past players? That will be entertaining.

MUFC_One_Love (U5272939) posted Jan 17, 2007 Well so far, the boy played one game for us and scored one game winning goal. May have been a friendly but there were plenty of other good players who could have scored. Dong put it in the net though and it was a good finish. Don't judge Fergie by Djemba and Kleberson, judge him by Scholsey and Beckham and Giggsy and Roon and Ronaldo and Cantona and Keane and Rock of Gibraltar ;o)
