So angry!

After the home defeat to a younge injured newcastle side who else is raging?
I'm not blaming it on the players or manager i'm blaming it on our rotten luck! Hitting the post, 20 odd shots on targets. How did we lose?
I'm trying to think of ways that I can take posotives out of the game and keep optimistic, but everytime it looks like we've got a chance to make something of ourselves in the table we let ourself down and lose a game like that.
Obviously missing King as we havn't kept a clean sheet in the league scince he's been out. Yet again we've dropped a place and that top 6 goal is getting further and further away.
Maybe our impressive home form is on it's way down after two home defeats.
I hand it to the players though they realy battled for the equaliser and i though they deserved to get a win.
Looking to the near future we're going to have top win about 5 league games in a row to climb the table one of which being manu.
We opened the game so brightly and should have put all hope of an away win past them by the hour mark max.

Please tell me your views. Can we get any posotives from this result?

I think as well as tottenham missing ledley at the back we are missing Jenas who is underated as the amount of ground he covers in a match is amazing he is also a good leader which we are lacking

another point is that all though we were dominating for most of this match martin jol pretty much always makes the team go defensive as soon as we get a lead instead of going for a 2 or 3 goal lead. Credits to martin he is a good manager and to newcastle, we'll see who gets further in europe!

ive just read all those comments and even the spurs fans are talking rubbish about us, im a real spurs fan and yeah maybe we are not a top 4 team yet but will be in a couple of years and as for cant attract the players and managers that newcastle cant.... is that a joke! id rather have jol and berbatov than roeder and martins. newcastle do attract the big managers but they get sacked before they get a chance! we have a great young team with inventive, exciting players playing attractive football, it may take a while to get to where we want to be and we may go through few bad runs to get there but we are a thousand times better than a couple years ago and will get better. we all have great respect for martin as a manager and think the team he is assembling will be a title winning one for the future!

Pires: The Mighty Morphin Vieira Tackler

"I remember when Hoddle came in with, what was it? His five year plan for making you a top 3 side. What a laugh!"

An even bigger laugh though is that you WERE winning things BACK then and NOW you're NOT even a top 3 side!! <doh>

What Muppets are going on about James? Can you not remember the 5+ mistakes he has already made his season! LOL! Like twice against Bolton. Here comes the cross David ... <doh>

Robinson has been average and has made two mistakes plus should have done better with a few saves.

At the moment though Kirkland drops clangers and Carson has made the odd blunder, though if you are looking for a keeper for five years time I'd say Carson right about now, if he can gets games next year of course!

I'm sorry, was that our name on the FA Cup in 2005?
Were we the team that reached the final of the Champions league last season?
Yes I do believe we were.
At least we're only 1 point off third not 11.
