It was just on Sky Sports news. Beckham has been axed by the Real Madrid manager because of the deal with LA Galaxy. He will still go to training, but he won't play another game for Real Madrid.

He should come on loan to a Premiership club and give a proper goodbye to the country that gave him his fame.

Galaxy move is actually irrelevant regarding his playing for Real. A red herring if you like.

The real reason - as has been all season - is that he is not good enough.

Coincidentally the reason why he opted Galaxy.

Yes I know he is not good enough, but he started in the last three games for Real Madrid. His manager does not like him or his dealings with other clubs. they are trying to save the embarrassment of playing him. They don't want to be accociated with the silly deal to LA.

not bad, just do a bit of running in training for over 100,000 a week is it?By the looks of Capello,he probably offer to pay his wage just to get beckham out of his sight.

Capello has just done the same as Fergie, how embarassing for Brand Beckham!

Ironically loved by 2 great clubs but never given a send off for either, doesn't that not say something in regards how the clubs at the time thought of his football ability, because if I'm not right that's what he's paid for?

I think it is a real shame the way that Beckham was treated by Man U and now Real Madrid. It is a disgrace how badly some managers treat players when they announce they are leaving; yet they they don't have a problem in trying to get players away from other clubs early.

I've never really been a fan of Beckham, but Capello is out of order the way he is treating Beckham......and Ronaldo will be next!

Besides some key Spanish players, who else has left Real Madrid with embraces? I can't remember any. But there have been many bitter separations: Nicholas Anelka, Makele, Figo, and now Beckam...soon to be followed by Ronaldo. It's a shame...on the part of Real Madrid...
