Typical Albion

West Bromwich Albion
comment on the article

Whilst returning from the Leeds game at the weekend, a so called reliable radio station stated that Albion were poised to sign Luton duo Rowan Vine and Leon Barnett, and the move would be completed in a few days

However, nearly a week later, there is no more news on the subject, and it looks like Birmingham have moved to sign Vine instead

All long serving albion fans should not be suprised by our continued poor approach in regards to transfers

This has shades of the Earnshaw/Horsfield saga last season.I predict Nathan Ellington will be sold with about 4 hours to go to the transfer deadline, and he will not be properly replaced

I'm not convinced we should be focusing on so many strikers. I'm hopeful we'll only lose Ellington upfront. 3m for Gera would be remarkable. He's effectively going for free in June so Boro would be daft to offer that much. I'd personally like a goalie and more defensive midfielder. Realistic names...Riordan to replace Ellington, Myhre/Poom and Holland maybe?

I agree with Albion fans. Don't think vine will be any good, better to go for strikers from Crewe and Scunthorpe. See you back in the premiership in about 2020!

Can you confirm to the Albion fans i never let you know Vine was singing for you, deliberately.

I let it out accidentally, when you were saying " I was looking for a response, that;s for sure!"

Hows Damien is he fit and able to get stuck in for Leicester?

As you and broads knows we can bet we boots on Damien Johnson thats for sure, he was the best player in the premier last year. I can confirm that you never let the cat out the bag on viney, i'd been watching him for ages in our match against luton! He could have scored enough goals to win three, four, five matches!

your right he was over rated when we paid £250,000 for him, he had a purple patch earlier in the season, but if he makes it at a higher level, i'll eat your hat, but what a good return, Birmingham clearly have more money than football sense

Thanks Brucie

Always a pleasure talking to you pal.

I am up here at Albion at the moment and they are rocking with noise, but hopefully we won't lose too much ground with our game being called off.

Damien Johnson would love a game like this, getting stuck in, fighting for everyball, koumas could learn from him.

You'll do for me.

KRO.
