United overcome the Villans

FA Cup Manchester United

comment on the article

United overcame Aston Villa at OT today with a 2-1 scoreline with goals from teh debutant, Larsson and a 91st minute goal for super-sub Solskjaer, United overall probably deserved to win the game but it looked to be fading out for a draw after a scrappy goal from Baros drew Villa level after 74 minutes. The overall team play proved too much in the end for Villa however, and United won to save a replay which would havetaken place merely days before the Emirates game.
The overall united team played well, especially carrick who i think deserves some praise for his performance and similarly evra. The usual attack force of Ronaldo, Giggs and Rooney was very powerful and with the addition of Larsson the team looked deadly in their movement, it was just the final touch or final ball which failed them.
Overall it was a strong display and a deserved win, Well Done United! Larsson looks to be a good signing, keep it up!

This is a case of all parties want it but none will come out and admit it. Fergie wants Larsson to stay because he is amazing. Larsson wants to stay because he is at the one of the biggest clubs in the world. And Helsingborg don't mind because they want money. If he stays all parties are happy.

If Henrik says it is a three month loan and he wants to honour his committment with Helsingborg then it is and he will. He is an honest professional and when he commits to somethig he sticks by it. He will go on the 12th of March. I dont want to see him leave as he was an idol of mine from his time at Celtic and its nice to be able to watch him week in week out again but dont expect any miracles!

It takes some people a long time to find where they are meant to be.
Henrik, at the age of 35, has found his spiritual home.
Welcome home, son....

Henrik is probably the best player I have seen in my 37 years on this earth. He was never recognised properly because he spent so much time playing for an spl club. He wasn't recognised cos he played second fiddle to Ronaldihnio at Barca. I hope he plays the way he has always done at Man u wether it be for 10 weeks or till the rest of the season he will show how good a player he is, and he isnt even asking for half a million quid a week!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to comment regarding the fact Petrov is being labelled as useless, I find this strange after watching him for the last 7 years at Celtic where he performed remarkably at all levels and not just the SPL. The difference is the team he is playing for and the quality of players around him. He was surrounded by quality all over the park including the likes of Larsson, Sutton, Thompson, Agathe and Hartson to name a few of the players he has graced the field with. The same applies for MON, you can only work with what you have, when he gets money and gets the players he needs you will see a difference, although you will never hit the heights he acheived at Celtic, you have to respect the fact you play in a harder leauge.

I totally agree. It seems the more I listen to the radio commentry on the Premiership games it becomes more and more negative. I get tired of listening to the same self opinionated and often totally biased comment which frequently makes me turn off. I will endure it if my beloved reds are playing but even then it becomes a struggle. The same has to be said of a lot of what a certain Sky analyist has to say which is so often arrogant (He was never that good anyway) and over analytical.
I hope there's some fresh blood on the way with more passion and less
self rightiousness than the current complacent crop.
Well done to the Reds for a great season so far. Long may it continue! SAF is head and shoulders above the rest... and deep down they all know it!

reddevilrich i think
your conclution are more
than just correct.
And I am not even a ManU-
Fan. What I'm really
interested in is your
CenterTank, And have
this story gone end.
They are simple, extrem
rare in football history.
And so far he overcomed
my wildest expectation's.
