Where are trhe Chelsea fans you were pouring scorn on the signing of Henrik Larsson now?

Shevchunko couldn't score against the might of a 10 man Macclesfield, continues to look poor and at a cost of £30 mill + massive wages!!

Larsson looks five times the player than the old Shevvy, has shown vision, class, touch and that he can score goals against Premiership defenders. And for FREE!!!!!!!! (oh and he hasn't played for 4 weeks, so he is likelt to get better!!!!)

The taunts of desperation, and 35 year old whos past it, show the lack of knowledge of some Chavski fans.

All I can say is, time to eat the old humble pie!!

I reckon that Henrik will score more goals for MU in the 10 week loan than Shevvy will score all season!

I've always thought Larsson was a class above ! I was overjoyed when I 1st heard about the signing ! What he does aside from goal-scoring is awesome - so intelligent - agree that he'll bring the best out of other players - particularly Rooney - see them in the warm-up ? SAF has always known of him - didn't he try to bring him to OT on numerous occasions ? but the player was settled - he's a true pro & a great role model ! best thing about the goal for me was that it was an instinctive toe-poke - never shaped up for the shot - never gave the keeper a chance !

We should've broken the bank to bring Larsson to the club years and years ago.

Instead of blowing 28 million on Veron.

And he was top class on Sunday. You can see already that he's going to have a significant impact. (Clever, clever, player.)

I knew Larson will get a goal in that match and it will continue in any match he plays. His presence is a dream come true. There is more to come out of him.Opponents should be ready to concieve his goals in good fate.

as a swede i can only say i wa more than surprised that larsson was going to man u. i thought it was a joke. i knew he would do well. my only concern is playtime, i hope he will be able to get to continue starting. also, i hope he doesn't return until the english season is finished. what's funny about this is that now i have started to support man united. i'm really an arsenal supporter but that is the power of larsson. i'd say it's like that in the whole of sweden. manchester united just got nine million more supporters. at least until larsson leaves.....

Anders - henrik is still adored at Celtic Park, 2 years after he left -that was in influence. Swedish flags are still commonplace.

Many Celtic fans applauded his goal against us in the CL.

He is a phenomenon in footie and is a very modest guy.

Remember the Swedish PM had to ask him to come back and play for his county?

How many players are held in that esteem?

Listen to all the praise Larson gets now. When he was a Celt no one seemed interested. Especially United fans who would just ignore his talents as he was "playing in a mickey mouse league". He has always been class and could have scored in any league, but now he is at united its as if they have just unearthed a gem??!! They have a class player, but hes been around for ages so where was his praise when he was scoring allsorts of goals in europe aswell as in Scotland???

well done henke!! and SAF
Im delighted the guy has shown a mere glimmer of his undoubted footballing genius.
I am a Rangers fan who has had to witness larrson doing the biz for years in Scotland, and had to laugh when "football experts" like that t**t mark lawrenson constantly doubted his ability to play in "the best league in the world"
even after he put Liverpool, Blackburn (uefa cup) England(world cup) and Arsenal (champions league Barca) i may add.
another example of ignorance from the media down south.
