Baros rejected Spain move

Premiership Aston Villa

comment on the article

Aston Villa striker Milan Baros has rejected the chance to join Real Sociedad but would consider other offers, according to his agent.

"Milan has not accepted the offer from Real Sociedad," said Pavel Paska.

"There will be no more talks. If there is an appropriate offer from a club, we will consider it."

Villa boss Martin O'Neill said recently he "wouldn't be sure" that Baros wanted to stay at the club, who signed him for 7m from Liverpool 18 months ago.

baros has to go! hes been nothing but a waste of money! Young, Wright-Phillips, Bardsley and Davies would be brilliant signings, offering MON a lot more choices than he has at the moment.

Have you been watching the same games as everyone else this season??
Sell everyone else?? - Ridgewell, Cahill, Davis, Sorensen? You are, at best, wrong!

i guess this comes down to O'Neills view of his attitude.
if he thinks he has the right mentality then id like to see him stay, there is no doubt he can score goals and im sure we havent seen the best of him. selling players isnt always the answer to our prayers.
if angel and baros had quality service then im sure theres goals in them.

agree with Keefy29 - we need better service to the strikers - we need Gabby to play upfront, not on the wing, this will assist with the service

If we could find a decent replacement I would be well up for him leaving, Baros has not done anything special since he arrived.
I would like to see Darren Bent and SWP at Villa Park, so Gabbi can play upfront also. Looking forward to getting Moore back as well, when he played we had more balance in the team.

Do you think we could entice Leeds into straight swap for Healy? On paper we are a few mil out but realistically, by the time we sell Baros he'll only bring in a 2.5mil or something like that anyway.

you think baros is worth 2.5 mil??? never, he is our most expensive striker for sure, he is well known in europe unlike our other strikers, all we need is for gim to turn his form from internationals into league and we have a top class striker!!!!! he's only been here 1yr and a half how long has angel been here for!!!

Gabby has played well under the circumstance but I have yet to see, the ruthless finishing touch.

Well, I hope I'm wrong but I suspect we'll see a price in that region when he does finally go. He's really done nothing at Villa and in this game you're only as good as your last 20 goal season as a striker.
