Unsworth & Ticket Price Fiasco

Premiership Wigan Athletic

So Jewell has picked up a 33 year old player who's not played since October on a Free. Is it the fact the club have screwed up big time on ticket prices last summer, means the impact (with crowds of 14,000) is that Jewell can only scower for the dreggs of English Football and freebies in Scandanavia.

Do we need a change at the very top?

If the fans don't come the team cant afford expensive signings

Wigan had to drop the prices to get Wigan fans to attend a game featuring the Prem Champions, may be the Wigan fans don't deserve Premiership football season.

Wigan had to drop the prices for the visit of Chelski as the knowledgable Wigan folk know that the Russian Londoners are a bore to watch.

Has his missus given him the okay to join? Wouldn't want him signing and then leaving after signing, because she didn't realise where Wigan is...like when he signed and unsigned for Villa smiley

If I was a Wigan fan I'd be worried about the future of Leighton Baines after this siging, being a Sheff U fan I know that Unsworth wanted first team football, not to sit in the reserves or he would have stayed at sheffield.

I can't see Wigan playing 2 left backs at the same time. All being said though Unsworth is a good left back, just too slow for the premiership. Oh and he takes a decent penalty.

in my opinion, if Wigan are wanting to get somewhere, signing the likes of Unsworth won't help a great deal.

You dug that one out!

But hey I'm rather glad it's come back to haunt me, we are still in the Premiership, and next season I get to watch a match for what Chelsea & Man Utd Fans will pay for a Burger & a Coffee this weekend....
