I think the Blades were by far the better team, and have done very well this December!

It's about time we beat Arsenal, thats for the FA Cup-Semi Final 2003 we got cheated out of! and also the FA Cup 5th Round Replay from 2005 lol. Of which some players from yesterday's match played in both of them! Phil Jagielka!! and Michael Tonge.

Nade's goal was amazing, how he pushed through Kolo and curled it round Lehmann. And the crowd was amazing, I gotta say, Arsenal fans WERE the quietest fans I've heard all season!

i have been an arsenal fan all my life, I have never got angry with the performances, not even after the sheffield united game, but looking at our squad i see no hope for the next year,unless we sign some experienced players up fpr a fight.
ATM the only quality players who have a shot at getting into chelski / manu teams are henry, toure, fab, gallas and jens, thats not even half a team, bt this is because we have WAY too many youngsters in the team, which is hindering the progress of arsenal FC.
In my opinion clichy and eboue get forward way too quickly and do not have enough defensive qualities to be considered a first choice wing back for arsenal, 2ndly despite all of our wingers being world class players - walcott, hleb, rosicky, ljungberg, (baptista), however as wenger continues to play ppl like rosicky and baptista on the wings, because they aren't wingers, all they do is cut inside, providing us with no width and getting the middle of the park congested, which has been happpening all season- thats why we miss reyes he gave us natural width on the left, we have no left sided winger at the emirates, surely that says something. Up top- aliadiere- just think would he make it into the west ham team? i doubt it so why is he in a team supposedly challenging for the premiership, i like van persie but he must learn to be less selfish, more aware of his team-mates, and he must curb that temper. Adebayor is my favourite player at the moment he is the only one showing fight,hunger and a passion for wearing the shirt, and henry well let's just hope when he comes back from injury, he will return to top form. Flamini is sometimes a real fighter aswell but his form is incosistent, fantastic at chelsea but cant hack it at SU - this is because hes too young -bring in some experience Wenger!

As for the january transfer window and players coming back from injury- diaby- big strong good tackle, but will he make a difference seeing as hes 4th in the pecking order for central midfielders, lauren - will provide experience, hopefully he will regain his place in the arsenal line up, gallas id love to c back, same with henry and i think thats about all the long term injured players. as for signing someone, im not getting my hopes up, because if the professor does, it will be another youngster, which I'm just not going to get excited about.

I'm sorry but some of the ignorance shown on here by arsenal fans is ridiculous!

You had players missing as did we, Hulse, Tonge and davis are the spine of our team and were on the bench, Jagielka went in the net for half an hour and the most consistent player we've had over the last few games (geary) was out injured!

Wake up and see that you don't have a divine right to come to places like bramall lane and win. The quicker the bunch of overpaid whingers realise that the better.

As for your excuses about the pitch thats sour grapes, fair enough your game is based on short passing but your ball retention yesterday was appalling. We realised we weren't going to win by out footballing you so we hassled and harried you when you got the ball and it worked.

I'm sure if you moan enough wenger will be able to get the FA to agree to a superleague on perfect pitches with no teams like us, bolton, man city etc in it!

Fair do's to those of you giving us credit for the win but the moaners and excuse makers just grow up! I'll have a very happy new year and will hopefully enjoy a fuzzy headed trip to boro tomorrow, come on you red and white wizaaaarrrrdddds!

I've been to your place for games and other such wonderful teams as Wrexham ,yes I know we lost , Coventry & Shrewsbury so it's not lost on me. The majority of Arsenal fans don't expect to win as a God given right but we do expect our players to fight for everything and at the moment we don't know which team is going to turn up and play. They team that wins away at Man Utd or the one that loses at Bramall Lane. That's why we are moaning. Dalglish , Graham , Ferguson , Wenger & Mourino all bad losers all big winners. Your managers not exactly immune to it either is he ?

We need Henry back.

He had more shots against Barca in May in the first 10 minutes than our entire side had against Blades in the first half. The side has talent, but is too young and inexperienced to take full advantage of it.

Also looking forward to the return of Gallas and Lauren in the New Year. Our backfield is not quite as decimated as Chelsea's, but we do have gaps that need to be filled.
