luckyScotsGeezer (U6418828) posted Dec 30, 2006 Would never pay £12million for Crouch though, you could get someone cheaper, and the same amount of goals from him. People like Darren Bent, cheaper than Crouch, but will get the same amount, if not more goals than Crouch.

Liverpool andy (U6487014) posted Jan 1, 2007 crouchy proved he can do what's needed of him today with that brilliant goal although he could've had at least another 1 but after that performance i hope we don't sell him

TOONELEVEN (U4408940) posted Jan 2, 2007 At least if he comes to Newcastle it wont be too long before he's injured and that'll keep him out of the England team. Well that's the only possitive I can find in it anyway!

TOONELEVEN (U4408940) posted Jan 3, 2007 Couch's game is simple this: posted Jan 3, 2007 Crouch is a regular score at Champions League level - understandably Geordies haven't witnessed much CL action - and at international level.

mercutio1972 (U1817488) posted Jan 5, 2007 More to the point I'd like to see him get a regular start at Liverpool. Before Rafa started dropping Crouchie for Kuyt, he was confident and scoring regularly. Being third choice striker has dented the poor old giraffe's confidence and he isnt as sharp in the box. And yes: Crouchie is not a good 'power' header of the ball like Shearer was or Ferdinand was but he does hold the ball up well with his head and is pretty adept at flicks and so on.....
