Carter to run in Birmingham

comment on the article

Xavier Carter, the second fastest 200m runner in history, will make his only European appearance of the season indoors in Birmingham on 17 February.

The 21-year-old American will compete in the 400m at the Norwich Union Grand Prix at the National Indoor Arena.

"I really enjoyed my first run in the UK at Crystal Palace this year so I was keen to come back," said Carter.

This year he ran the 200m in 19.63secs, a time bettered only by Michael Johnson's 10-year-old world record.

How interesting to see how the 606 managers try again and again to kick start this forum. Espescially when their only interests listed are guess what? FOOTBALL!!!.Time to bring back the Athletics forum as it was surely?
