Wenger's substitution of Johan was very timely. Senderos looked more settled & decisive on the day.

He should be the main club captain ,he does so much work of the ball that i feel Henry as great as he is and a a striker is not in the position to dictate on the pitch as Gilberto Silva does.

I am more concerned that we will continue to lose points against lesser teams by conceding silly goals by saying that every time we put an eleven out on the pitch,we have always developed a siege mentality whether its British or european players ,against teams last season we wouldve lost aginst them and how we didn't lose out fight against Watford .
Fans must remember are team is young ,theyre developing anyone noticed how Fabregas is getting taller so physically he'll be getting stronger also credit to Wenger for giving the players a chance to hone their game instead of following Chelsea and spending more money than we have i see our boys deciding who'll will win the title but for anybody smart enough put Arsenal on an each way bet for the title.

yeah i have lost count of how many assists Theo has this season.

he keeps setting up winners/equalizers!!!

to be honest - he just played it down the line, that goal was all Robin.

Arsenal has an excellent balance of players, and when you look at their age I for one am very excited about the future of football in general, because by the time that these young players start to gel and hit their full potential and are truly settled in at the Emirates stadium(next season) the beautiful game will be on display for the world to see and teams to fear seeing inflicted upon them.

Fabregas 19 will captain Spain one day and be recognised as one of the best payers in the world. Diaby 20 will captain France one day and is a young Viera.
Senderos 21 a young Tony Adams and will Captain the Swiss one day.
Edabayor, 21 Huge potential shown in first season, look at Drogba for Chelsea!
Djourou 18 watch this boy become a man and world class defender.
Van Persie 22 a young forward would love to succeed Bergkamp as Arsenal's resident Dutch master. With natural talent in abundance, Robin has every chance of doing just that.
Clichy 21 Fantastic ability and will go o to be French left-back
Flamini 22 will be a French regular and is a very technical gifted footballer.
Larsson 21 is another Freddie in the making
Lupoli 19 This lad can score goals and Italy calling
Wallcot 17 England’s future star!
Perez 17 Spain answer to Luis Figo and an amazing acquisition!
Denilson 18 Captain of Brazil under 17, 19 and has unlimited ability, Pele?

Add a few oldies(31!) that have a bit of talent Henry, Silva, Ljungberg, Galas.
And then a few prime time 25 year old internationals with Roisky, Baptista, hleb, toure.
The German national keeper!
Arsene Wenger as the head Chef!

And you have a beautiful casserole a la arsenal !!!

As all chefs I like to vary recipes so I would add a little Micha Richards in defence, Timo Hildebrand (Stuttgart) in Goal as a replacement for Lens and the best young goalkeepers I have seen for years with a little Wright-Phillips on the side as an attacking option. He could be as great as the Wrighty senior.

Arsene Wenger is the real star of Arsenal and has really made something that I honestly think will go on to become one of the best teams the world has seen for decades and I personally tip to will win the European cup this season, because any team that comes out and plays to win against Arsenal including Chelsea Liverpool and Manu, which they will have too, is an advantage to our completely technical, flowing, creative, high tempo regime and mindset. And once again look at the youth, talent and ability here it’s massive, were just getting started and moved stadiums, look at our position in the league and cups!
Oh to be a, Oh to be a GOONER!!!!

what happened to Timo Hilderbrand? everyone said he was gonna be the next big thing for goal keepers - but the Germans are still turning to 2 nearly 40 years olds for that spot.

he can't be that good.

i think we will get another year from lehmann but if not i would love to see Given come to London.

Given is talented, but Hilderbrand is exceptional! Germany had to play Khan and Lens because they have massive experiance. But he will be there for the next decade.

so he is still considered a talent? Given would be the safe bet - proven prem player.
but i am sure newcastle would want like 15m for him - seems every prem player is overpriced compared to the european market (it is why Wenger wont shop here - its a rip off!)

Gilberto is in good form, he covers a lot of the pitch and hope he keeps the same form. We are doing good business without our best 2-3 players.
