Three goals in the last eight minutes handed Arsenal a majestic victory over Blackburn at the Emirates.

Shabini Nonda put Rovers ahead from the spot after three minutes before Gilberto Silva headed home a corner.

Alexander Hleb then side-footed home with a sublime finish before Emmanuel Adebayor made it three from the spot.

Nonda pulled one back with an overhead-kick before van Persie added two more with neat finishes while Mattieu Flamini blasted home a sixth.

manuforeva..wonderful insight, great spelling, incredible..keep at it, have a lollypop..theres a good boy. One result doesnt make a season, but it was nice to see the 'kids' step up to the mark, and show some bite.

6-2? Arsenal did not deserve 2 beat blackburn by that scoreline, and besides, this is only 1 gd win, it needs 2 b done consistently. And Arsenal only win when other teams try 2 win/make stupid errors, so its not all gd 4 Arsenal

That's a two way street Arsenal have conceeded goals then chased a draw/win while the opposition have had 10 players defending. It's too early to speak of consistency for any of the teams as there seems to be an unusually high ammount of players injured for all clubs in the premiership at the moment.
