comment on the article

Wycombe's reward for upsetting Charlton in the Carling Cup is a semi-final against Premiership champions Chelsea.

The League Two outfit will host Jose Mourinho's side on 9 or 10 January, with the away leg two weeks later.

The other last four encounter will see Tottenham take on the winner of the postponed quarter-final between Liverpool and Arsenal.

Im a charlton fan and i was extremly impressed with Wycombe (although Charlton were awful)

Chelsea will be very happy with this draw, it gives them teh opportunity to field a weakened team reducing the chance of injury for the more important competitions: Premiership and Champions League.

All I can say is Wycombe can beat Fulham and Charlton why not Chelsea its not like Shevchenko is any better than jermaine Easter, good luck Wycombe

Chelsea could be playing a weakened side to preserve the top players for EPL and CL as one here has said. Which means that weak Chelsea side could be beaten by Wycombe.

But a weak Chelsea side could not be weak enough to be beaten. So it could go either way.

Chelsea v Pool for the final!

i think spurs have more chance of beating liverpool in the semis than arsenal and seeing as the q.final's at anfield it is quite likely we will get liverpool. We may be able to beat them if we REALY try and if we get to the final who know...... we could beat chelsea again! or wycombe!

And replying to people earlier talking about spurs beating chealsea every 16 years, biast ref, disallowed goal, player wrongly sent off - weel spurs only hadn't beaten chealse in the premiership for 16 years! and stop using grayam poll because for the north london derby poll wrongly gave two penalties. First was NOT aoful! and second van persy controlled with his arm and then got fowled!

Chealsea are going to have a game on there hands when they face Wycombe... a League 2 side that have a history of Giant Killing!! Plus the way Chealsea have been playing latly.. one mistake and our young man Easter will have another goal to his name, and Wycombe will have another Giant Kill to their Collection!!!
