marcobh (U2196641) posted Dec 23, 2006 martins has one less than saha and rooney, sibierski cost us nothing and has been a fabulous addition to the squad, and the young kids in the back are developing well and flourishing as a unit. the hard decisions will be to keep this unit and not be tempted to bring back the likes of babayaro and carr. in milner, parker, dyer, butt, dyer, nzobgia and emre we have a first tier midfield with a bit of depth. well done roeder! not only a super nice guy but also a good leader, and im really happy for him and the lads. well done!

SingingSamurai (U1760163) posted Dec 24, 2006 Anyone notice Lawro was strangely silent on our win last night on MOTD? Lineker went to Hansen for a comment, but you could almost see the heat of rage rippling the air above the other 'pundit'.

Socceroo Viduka! (U1805411) posted Dec 24, 2006 a brilliant result yesterday, was great t see dyer start and score, he tore spurs' defence apart and surely if he stays fit deserves an england recall? martins is looking a brilliant buy now, and our defence is looking more solid than at any other time this season, the young kids have done really well especially Paul Huntington who had to make his first ever first team start against chelsea at left back where he has never played before, ramage and taylor are also looking good and will be pushing moore, carr and babayaro for their places when they are fit, another player who has caught my eye recentely is James Milner, great thing we did not sell him on the last day of the transfer window, he is a brilliant natural crosser of the ball as he has shown on many occasions such as Martins headed goal last week against watford and the cross that set up Luque in the UEFA cup against Palermo, Bring on Bolton and hopefully another 3 points, we can go up too 7th in the league, not bad for a team tht has been extremely underperforming this season. posted Dec 24, 2006 Absolutely Brilliant, Great finishing from dyer and not to shabby from the Marvalous Martins. The 3 young lads at the back although a bit green are growning into something very promising. And with solano showing how good he can be at right back Bramble,Carr,Moore and Babayaro look unable to stake an imediate return once fit. With the midfield we have some depth chosing between Parker (captain fantastic, (inspired choice))Emre and Butt (playing the best football since his arrival) in the middle when we get Charlie back you have him and duff Challenging for the left milner on the right, then up front with marvalous Martins and Sibierski (how he has proved me so wrong and so many others). Then you have Dyer and where do you put him, you have so many roles him can play in. then you have Mr. Given how for me has been the best keeper in the league for season after season and what a servant he has been. Thanks for Crimbo pressy lads. Keep it up lads over the festive period and beyond. And here is to a fruitful expodition in europe first stop Belgium. Comment on this article |
