Mourinho is a joker

Premiership Chelsea
comment on the article

It sickens me to hear JM to criticise other players for diving when he used to be in charge of a team full of divers atg Porto. In fact they manged to win a UEFA Cup and Champions league by consistently diving. Particularly in the UEFA Final against Celtic, with Deco the main culprit.

blue...thats just about the crassist statement I think I have heard. The guy was skating very close to being issued with a legal writ. What he said was wrong. Your best keeper got injured becuase he was brave and the guy collided with him
was unable to "bail out" in time.If you watch closely AJ never jumps up looking for a pen.but he did manage to avoid colliding with the keeper.IF he had left his foot in, or gone for the ball, JM would have been screaming blue murder over the keeper being injured.

He is Portugese and having seen their national team, how Porto conduct themselves and Mr Ronaldo, it would seem they all have stability problems when they come into contact with anything in the box.

He needs to be censured for his comments and given a final warning.

Both Ferguson and Wenger also seem to have eye sight problems-they never see anything detrimental about their palyers conduct but can spot an opponents misdemeanours 100 yards away- Selective vision

Football-Those players seem to grab hold of anything in an opposition shirt at corners and free kicks, encroach within 10 yards when standing in walls at free kicks, body check, tug shirts, obstruct and late tackle people...Nice...

Well thats already a different issue than diving. Some players try to influence the referee more, others less- our current world champions have mastered that art, for example. Its just a part in today's game. Every player on the pitch tries to influence the referee in some way (yes, the English too).

pearl, don't be ridiculous, diving/cheating isn't nationality or team specific, to suggest it is is naive or blinkered. Chelsea won back to back titles because they were the best team.

"WHAT???!!!!???

Cheating in the "Beautiful game"???

There was no diving or cheating until Mourinho took over at Chelsea. FACT."

Chelkski is managed by a man who coached Porto. Porto were a bunch of talented divers in the Drogba mould. How can this man denounce divers when diving plays such a pivotal role in the success of all his teams??

Strange though, I'm struggling to think of an occasion where "diving" has helped a Chelsea result in the last couple of seasons. I can think of examples of other teams, Man U the other day for one, oh no Ronaldo doesn't dive so I must be mistaken.

Rubbish.

Porto had Carvalho, Ferreira, N.Valente, Pedro Mendes. All player who do NOT dive and play in the premiership now. Porto won because of their coach and because they had some exceptional talent. They emphasized their superiority by thrashing Monaco in the final that year.

How someone could actually be suggesting that Jose instructs his players to dive is beyond me. The issue here is much simpler: Mourinho realizes that in Football what ultimately counts are RESULTS, and he has no problem doing controversial things to achieve his goals.

But I assure you he doesn't tell Drogba "go to ground whenever you get the chance to".

100% true.. all this anti-Drogba feelings but I don't remember his "dives" changing a game... I can't tell the same about other players (even Henry against Spain, for example)
