Ouch.Scottish Premier Celtic by byrney86 (U6551538) 17 December 2006 That one hurt! Thought we'd got through it: had a horrible feeling when the corner was given and thought it was cleared. Not seen a replay yet, but looked as tho Gravesen should have cleared with his header? Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

flippin-eck (U6585156) posted Dec 17, 2006 glad to see some celtic fans praising us and in return i say thank you for an enjoyable match, celtic didnt seem to play with a lot of pressure (all down to the 16 point gap i suppose) and slacked a little (or a lot) we did control the game for hefty periods and created MANY decent chances while celtic had few chances they created really GOOD ones. Which im sure had we taken some of our early chances - novo shot, barry miss, headers - we would have had an even MORE exciting match than what we already had. Great game with a lot of real end to end stuff but in the end cant fault the performance but maybe the result. Improvements are there but we desperately need to take this into the game against aberdeen. Lennons penalty would have been quite unfair because he was running away from goal and although clumsily he was tackled, he would have been lucky to get it for the reasons given above and the fact he is after all, Neil Lennon. Good game nonetheless.

scotcan (U2128744) posted Dec 17, 2006 How the ref never gave a penalty is beyond me. If we had got that and went in 2-0 at half time the game was over! He was terrible all game - bad foul on Naylor and he gives a throw in to Rangers and we have to play the next 10 mins with a man short, and McGeady never got a decision from him all day despite being fouled evry time he got the ball!

The Hooped Avenger (U212826) posted Dec 17, 2006 As usual the media are going hysterical about Rangers seemingly 'deserving' to win. That must be the worst Rangers team since the last days of Jock Wallace. If the ref hadn't bottled it and given what the world and its Granny knew was a penalty there may have been no way back for Rangers. Still sixteen ahead with a superb Gravesen strike cancelled out by a totally lucky deflection.

bluedek (U6913204) posted Dec 18, 2006 McGeady certainly didn't get any decisions, he should have been red carded after 5 shocking challenges in the first half! Is Boruc really so stupid he had to stop and cross himself to the Copland Rd end as he went to his goal in the second half if only to wind up some of the support? Comment on this article
