Sounded like a cracker on the radio... Had we had a fit forward line they were there for the taking. They however could say the same thing. All in all happy with a point and a great performance... Looking forward to motd and seeing another Taylor superstrike.

I pointed out before the season started (to derisory comments from some less informed Gooners) that AFC's strongest XI was only just above mid-table. Their position in the league clearly disputes this but let us not be silly about the current league position.

Hleb, Rosicky, Baptiste, Lundberg, Clichy, Senderos, Adebayor, Gilberto and Lehmann are very average players. Indeed Lundberg, Clichy, Hleb, Rosicky and Senderos would struggle to make the line-up of most EPL teams.

Arsenal do have Henry, Toure and Gallas (and maybe Fabregas and van Persie on their, all to infrequent, good days) but they have little else to maintain a significant challenge for any kind of league honours.

The fans may look for the positive results -that is the nature of fando, I suppose - but it won't happen whilst they refuse to allow themselves to believe that too many of the current squad just ain't good enough.

Ultimately, the AFC fans need to let Arsene know that they expect more form the team they support and not have to rely on watching average players in the hope that they eventually come good.

You hardly thrashed Spurs.. The score line flatters you. If Spurs were half on form that day it would be Wender crying like a baby that he is.... gift

Agreed, Both Bendtner (thought he was better then Ali in our reserves) and Stokes seem to be the instinctive strikers we need. Someone who runs into the box to get on the end of passes & crosses. At the moment out strikers spend all there time (except Adebayor) trying to come in or shoot from outside the box. Our game plan is too rigid and Arsene is blinded to the fact other good managers can adapt there team to stop us (Bolton being a prime example). AW doesn't instill the fire/passion or drive into the team, making them want to win, It's always we played well and it looked nice but that doesn't count for anything its the winning that matters at the end of the day.

Kapt Boris...
First of all ...Change your name!
Next: You do not watch any football do you? Do I need to shout it out for you?
THESE BOYS PLAY THE MOST ENTERTAINING FOOTBALL IN EUROPE! They create the most chances than any other team in th EPL (including the ones whose first XI they can't make Bull***)
Does it make them any bad if they are not putting the ball in the back of the net??
PUNK!

Arsenal had 17 players at the world cup, same number as Chelsea so i don't think the squad is too bad

It's clearly evident from the national team performances that the pace and excitement of the EPL is maintained by the fitter, more skilled and more determined foreigners in our league.

You have to give credit to Harry though. Pompy fans must love him, getting their biggest rivals relegated then coming back and turning them into a decent prem side, and of course coming so close to doing other the french national team!

kapt boris. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! ljungberg, hleb, rosicky, clichy, gilberto would stroll into most teams and fabregas is possibly the finest central midfielder in the league just wait till they click titles beckon.
