Browse: Snooker O'Sullivan's shock-exit!by GiganticSnookerBoy (U3878738) 14 December 2006 I guess you're all as stunned as I am over O'Sullivan's behaviour. I've seen him done a lot of strange things over the years, but this tops it all! I sincerely hope he's got a good explanation for this, giving up a race to nine and only three frames behind, because he has let down all of his fans today. returnof50phead (U3646404) posted Dec 15, 2006 I agree with Kinghendo. If Ronny was 4-1 up I very much doubt he would have walked out. He can dish it out but can't take it. He really must be one of the sorest losers in the history of sport. A fine, suspension and docking of ranking points should be his punishment, the spoiled brat.

howsadrulot (U2258405) posted Dec 17, 2006 First of all i cant believe ive lowered myself to a level where i have had to comment on all the complete and utter crap you lot have been writing about ronnie, with the exeption on a few! I quite regularly check the bbc sport website and in infuriates me to see small minded people commenting on a subject they clearly have no idea about! 302 comments, mine with regret will be the 303rd, have you all not got anything more constructive to do, or are your lives so simple that this is your life! im guessing the later... Ronnie is a genius, he has a seriously flawed character and what he did was wrong, but he was in pain, not physically but when hes not playing his best he hates himself, switches off and looses interest, and with hindsight will probably put a towel over his head, or now walk out! I know id rather see him walk out than see him play badly, punch the table, sit there biting his nails, and put his towel over his head. speaking of which a towel over the head on a live tv match is alot more disrepectful that saying ive had enough and walking out! in my opinion anyway, im sure you will all disagree with what ive said, but i dont mind i dont know what im talking about either!!

Sir_Amesbury (U6909741) posted Dec 17, 2006 Stop coating off Ronnie. He was probably fed up with the tedious way in which Hendry plays snooker (like an android) and who can blame him for that?! Rock-on Ronnie, don't let the blighters get you down!

GonnaeNoDaeThat (U5229128) posted Dec 18, 2006 Okay, thats the new rule for sport is it? The losing player/team walks off without finishing the game? When your Ronnie O'Sullivan nobody knows his "pain" his "torture" he is "misunderstood" the game "needs" him. Tosh, he is a bad sportman who has never grown up, the game doesnt need him, and he obviously doesnt need the game, let him go, long live Snooker without bad sportsmanship.

moannajax (U6881709) posted Dec 18, 2006 I think that O'Sullivan feels to do, he is an awesome player, and sometimes we just have bad days. True, he has threatened to quit many times, but every time he changes his mind we can be thankful. Snooker without Ronnie just wouldn't be the same...

NeilG42 (U1826671) posted Dec 18, 2006 O'sullivan's attitude seems to be that he thinks that snooker owes him a living, NO, he owes snooker a living. If it wasn't for the sport what would he be?

Cueaction (U6881474) posted Dec 18, 2006 This matter concerns the snooker governing body and Ronnie. It is for them to decide whether any action is to be taken and, if so, what that action will be. So please just leave them to it. Comment on this article
