Reo Coker

West Ham United

So NRC is worried about his future at the club. Quite right too. His performances have been poor and hardly inspirational as a Captain should be. West Ham have been leaderless for most of this season. Its time for NRC to prove to the WH fans he wants to stay or come clean and admit he wants to leave. The pitch is the place to do the talking and its time to speak up.

It wasn't so long ago that NRC was whingeing about not getting a chance to go to Arsenal or Man Utd in the August transfer window, and now he's worried about his West Ham future! Well, he should've given it some thought before deciding not to play for his former manager or team mates or lead by example on the pitch. He is by no means the only one to blame - there are a number of players at West Ham that let Pardew down. And as for theories that the two Argentinians have unsettled the squad, well, that's football! There has to be competition in the squad, and these players are paid enough to take it like the 'professionals' that they're supposed to be.

I hope now that Curbs can get the best out of the squad and that the players start playing for him, each other, and most importantly, the club and the fans (we do, after all, pay their wages!)

COME ON YOU IRONS!

Although i am not a follower of west ham i watched them play against my home team, Chesterfield in the Carling Cup and to be honest the entire team appeared to lack motivation. I accept that as captain Reo Coker must be seen to always giv 100% but he shdn't be used as a skape goat as the rest of the team are just as guilty. maybe when the new manager arrives he may be able 2 get a few of them to actually meet their potential. after all west ham still hav a gd team even if they seem 2 hav forgotten that

I think NRC is worrying too early. Sure, there are some hysterical fans screaming for his head but I doubt Curbishly is paying much attention to them but he does have to show quickly he is the real thing and he shouldn't take it for granted he will get the whole 90 minutes to do it in every match. Forunately he and for that matter all the team, are fortunate that after MU they have some very winnable matches coming up quickly if they get their act together.
What I expect to see from Curbishly on Sunday is him playing Tevez in his natural position at last with Cole given a look

"Everyone keeps saying I should be sacked and it's all my fault we've been doing so badly."

"Now Pardew has gone it's only going to get worse for me with people pointing the finger."

Why is Reo-Coker so busy whining about what people are saying, when he should be asking himself why they're saying it? He acts like it's nothing to do with him.

Instead of snivelling in the Press, he should be saying "Now's my chance to show the new manager what I'm made of". And he should be encouraging the other players to do the same.

Talented player, maybe. The right man to be club captain? No way.

Couldn't agree more and i hope that the first thing curbs does is appoint a new captain who is proud to wear the club armband instead of whingeing about everybody blaming him for pards sacking. I heard through a good source that he don't care about the club or the fans so the quicker we get rid of him the better.

some business man brings in a couple of argentinians to the team, leaving pardew out of the process (and totally undermining him), it shows everyone that money is in charge not alan, and bearing in mind we just had the world cup to witness tevez and friend, things drastically change at west ham, and people are to blame reo coker for this? clever.
