athletenumber1 (U6856751) posted Dec 12, 2006 People with limited knowledge in athletics forget, Dwain was a talented youngster and had already broken the ten seconds barrier before moving to the coach with whom he took the steroids. To say he cant hack it without the drugs is very unreasonable, however, he has taken drugs and maybe moving to another sport would be a good solution to his money issue.

mn06dtj007 (U6857843) posted Dec 12, 2006 I think Chambers was a fine sprinter, before he took drugs. Because he took drugs he has become something short of a fine sprinter, so leaving Athletics will make everyone happy.

tam-chillout (U2249574) posted Dec 13, 2006 Although he does have a moral obligation to pay back cheated money I appreciate that he probably needs to go and earn his money unfettered by regulation, a fairer thing to do would be to ask him to make a contribution to drugs awareness programmes - deal with the root not the stem of the problem
