Alan Curbishley

Alan Curbishley has been unveiled as the new manager of West Ham.

Chairman Eggert Magnusson moved quickly to appoint the former Charlton manager after sacking Alan Pardew on Monday.

Curbishley's immediate task will be to lead the Hammers out of the relegation zone, starting with Sunday's daunting home game against Manchester United.

What do you make of this appointment?

The new chairman has done well to appoint Curbishley. Its a shame Pardew wasnt given any more time,he is a decent manager.
Curbishley is a great manager, loves the club and knows how to get the best from under achievers.

Curbishley and West Ham is a match made in heaven; they've both been hoping in secret for the right circumstances to allow this partnership to happen, and now it has, they'll do fantastically well together!

I'm not a hammer btw winkeye

'Though I disagree with HouseElf - as I have said previously, Curbs is ten times the manager Pardew will ever be and without the ego problem at that'

HammerBod, I get the feeling you were not a fan of Pardew smiley

But, on what basis do you think AC is a better manager than AP, taking into account that AC has never won anything either.

I wish AC all the best, after all, he is now our manager, and good luck to him.

ACs Charlton history makes interesting reading whilstr he was manager:

Played 514
Won 201
Draw 132
Lost 181

For 680
Against 682

Ronaldo is a great "King of Diving of Premiership" and Rooney act as a "Little Baby" when he asked for more (special) protection from the referee ???
