also saying put drogba on the bench is one of the stupidest things ive ever heard, hes chelsea's best player at the moment setting up or scoring pretty much every chance.

I know I am a Arsenal fan but come on! How do you think Chelsea would fair without Terry, Carvalho and Drogba? As we were missing Gallas, Toure and Henry!! Also you have to take into account how fresh Chelsea must have been after having the rest they had and Arsenal had CL game and North London Derby....etc. Thought the ref was spot on other than the Cole foul (which lead to the goal!) and Drogba should have been sent off for reaction. Let's be fair Lehman hardly touched him!?

Also if you want consider the age of our back 4! Think Senderos had a bit of a night,are but he's been out since the world cup really! I think it was great that we went for it and it was us that showed heart and passion for such a big game with three of our best players out! I mean lets face it I would have love to have seen Chelsea's def without Terry and Cavalho!!!!!

i think we can see the first few cracks in mourinho. He's just spouting nonsense say that United must be more worried now they've effectively increased their lead from 3 to 5 points (once you've factored in games in hand for all those out there that need that obvious point making). As a United fan I really hope Chelsea don't lose their next game, we'll really be in touble then!

Sorry I don't agree with you there. I think Man Utd are playing at their optimum level. The team can't afford any injuries. What if Saha or Rooney were out for any length of time?
Chelsea have a big squad, and Schevcenko is finished! They'll be more potent when they cut him loose and revert to 4-3-3.

Right where to start...

Firstly yes Arsenal rode their luck yesterday, and yes in terms of chances, Chelsea deserved to win. However how many times have Arsenal failed to convert their chances and people scorned them saying for all their beautiful football they didnt deserve to win cos they didnt score?! Im afraid the same goes for Chelsea yesterday afternoon. You didnt score those chances, therefore you didnt deserve to win. Fact.

Secondly im not entirely sure how effective Chelseas wingers would have been had they played from the start. When they both came on with 20mins to go Arsenal were tiring and the fresh legs of SWP and Robben caused Arsenal problems. Had they been playing from the start i think their effectiveness would have been reduced as Clichy and Eboue would have had fresh legs too.

Finally the reason i think Arsenal play better without Henry atm is because when he is playing the young players expect him to carry the team. Fabregas especially often plays the ball to Henry even when he has better options elsewhere. When Henry isnt playing however the players realise they need to actually produce, and their perfomances show for this.

jwoodfin u need to undertand urself b4 u make a comment. if saha and rooney gets long term injury smith and ole will come in. we will still win but the goals will reduce. what if sheva and drogba have long term injuires too. who will come in Kalou? please....... oH! my mistake u will splash another 45mill on Adriano

I know i said mourinho should put drogba on the bench but that is only because shevchenko is still a far better world class striker than drogba. Also didier would make a good back up striker on the bench in a 4-3-3 formation and sheva will score lots and i mean loads more goals than drogba in this formation. I wasn't commenting on drogba's skill or class at scoring goals and setting up players for assists credit to him for that but i just think shevchenko has alot more to offer than him thats just my opinion.

Cudicini is in goal to replace injured Petr Cech when Cech is fit from his fractured skull he will be back in his normal position as 1st choice goal keeper.

Essien should be moved to right back as mourinho has recently done against arsenal and other teams as he plays at his best at right back and has the pace, strength to burst foward to give support to the striker and wingers also to score world class goals as he has scored all of his 3 chelsea goals from right back.

I think J.Cole and Robben should come in for left and right wingers because we (chelsea) are a far much powerfull, faster and more deadly at scoring goals when they come on also they are world class and are a incerdibly young talent and bringing in wingers would compliment sheva completley.

COME ON CHELSEA!!!
