Tottenham v Charlton

Dimitar Berbatov struck twice as Spurs produced a clinical display to beat Charlton and move into seventh spot.

Hallelujah. Two wins in a row, albeit at home. I think we can beat Man City away next Sunday though. Could really open up our season. Also, has anyone noticed that we are level on points with the Gooners? Once they lose to Chelsea tomorrow, then the "games in hand" argument will be diluted too.

Tottenham did good. Berbatov did good, and hopefully this will be a new start for Spurs

i hop that this is the start of many wins. thankfully we have started taking out chances and converting them into goals which is why the score line was so infatic. I do hope that deofe can prove himself to jol and mclaren while keane is injured that he is a top class stiker, which he is!

biggrinlaughSuperb result against a team bound for relegation....up to 8th an in the mix once again...should give Defoe and Berbatov a confidence boost...who would have thought that Keane getting injured was a blessing in disguise!

It's great to pile on the goals, but Charlton were awful. I predicted they'd go down in the summer, and it's nice to be proved right!
We really need an away win- Man City coming up, we could do with a result there. Berbs looked great again, and our youngsters are starting to click.
Top 4? Maybe not this year, but I'd take Uefa, Carling, FA Cup and fifth maybe...!

Charlton looked shell shocked.
This was a bad, very bad for their confidence.
Its not looking good for them and its going to be a case of digging DEEP to find a good run of games and I just dont think they have it in the tank.
Good luck to em,there going to need it.
