All these people who say that Shevchenko is like drogba or essien and only needs a few seasons to fit in to the team forget one vital thing - he is already 30 years old. On th other hand, essien and drogba are both in their 20s. Within a few seasons, Shevchenko will be looking towards retirement, not settling in.

hes getting better and better, and many players can play well into their thirties, bergkamp, giggs etc.

Essien by far, is the best player within the chelsea team now.Absolutly phenominal.Iam some how surprise the searchlight is not on him at the moment. The media is rather focusing on half baked players calling them superstars.Essien is really the best and all attention must be on him

i believe shevchenko is a source of inspiration to drogba, becuase since ever he arrived stamford bridge drogba has improved instantaneously. what shevi needs is more time for him to get use to chelsea.

yeah, i also think Sheva needs time to adapt to the primership just like Essien and Drogba did.
But for Essien, he is been fantastic this season, its not about scoring goals that makes you a great player but how to keep your composure and Essien deserves it all... just look how he won the day for Chelsea vrs Barca and against Man U... go all the way boy for the African best player.

Essien is extremely the best as to how he takes control of the ball run when and who the pass should go to. his over lapping is always a win to chelsea
