Henry may miss Chelsea clash

Premiership Arsenal

Thierry Henry may miss Arsenal's match against Chelsea on Sunday 10 December.

The Gunners skipper, 29, has struggled with a neck problem and having pulled out of the game against Tottenham he may now miss another derby.

"I have to rest," Henry told BBC Sport. "If that includes Chelsea... I hope it is going to stop there.

"It might go further but I have been saying since the start of the season I'm nowhere (near) fully fit and I came back into the team trying to help."

Arsenal beat Spurs 3-0 without the french striker; do you think he will be missed if he does sit out of the next derby?

Gallas will be back for the Chelsea game, he may even be fit for Weds game against Porto according to Arsenal.com.

I'd assume the defensive pairing will be Gallas & Djourou for the Chelsea game as Kolo is suspended.

It will be a fascinating game seeing as Arsenal are big underdogs...I think Chelsea will be that little bit too strong for us personally and will sneak a 1-0 win.

Did Arsene and Jose ever patch things up after 'Christmas Card-gate', or could they just not be bothered to take each other to court? I think this match will be exactly one year on from that infamous game last season, with RVP's disallowed goal, the Blue's eventual victory, and the non-handshake.

Smart money says Chelski win again, but if the Gunners already have Man U and Liverpool's scalp, they'll surely fancy their chances here?

Either way, roll on Sunday!

To Chelsea logic

Did you even see or listen on the radio to the match? It was Ronaldo who won the penalty! Typical Chelsea!
----
correction. it was ronaldo who dived for the penalty.

I would far rather see them pack the midfield than play Robben and J.Cole. Eboue and Clichy are not good enough defensively to cope with them.

In my honest opinion... Eboue is the best RB in the world or maybe second behind... Zambrotta...

As a big fan of the Gunners, Thierry will definetely be missed when we take on Chelsea, and honestly speaking it will take a miracle to beat Chelsea. But on the other hand we beat Man U and Liverpool so we are in with a chance to pull off an upset victory over them.

To the boyz I only have to say, go out there any play ur best, who knows maybe we might get another big win this season!!!!!!!!

I'm never confident of beating Arsenal especially as its a derby too. Arsenal with or without Henry can still open up the best of defences so we'll have to be on our guard for the full 90mins. I think Chelsea will only win by out muscling you and catching you on the break, other than that its'll still be a tough game and one that we both need to win.

If that of henry is a simple or slite injury I think he must play in that matct because he is the star of Arsenal. Arsenal will not win the match if there is no Henry.
