Premiership Tottenham Hotspur

I see he is already making excuses before a ball has been kicked in the North London derby

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foo...

What is with this man? He has no class at all, compare his comments to those of Jol, Jol praises Arsenal, all Wenger can do is moan about the fixtures and say "but we will beat them" showing a complete lack of respect for the opposition, which is why i beleive Spurs will get a result tomorrow.

Thoughts?

Arsenal play charming football with charmless manners. Even as a Spurs fan, I admired Wenger for many years, despite his obvious myopia. In the last year, however, he has gone from a professorial role model to a moaning, aggressive pillock. It is a shame. He needs to shake up Thierry Henry and the rest of the primadonnas who think they have the right to walk the ball into the net and tell them to demean themselves by shooting from outside the area, as other, lesser teams do.
I don't think Spurs will win today, but we have as good a chance as we have had for years. For the sake of English football, however, let's hope we do, because we have too many moaners and whingers at the top of the league. Martin Jol is a straightforward man (with the one exception of his support of Zokora's dive), who is a credit to his profession and a welcome diversion from the preaning and moaning of Mourinho and Wenger.

I'm an arsenal fan.. always have.. but christ.. its painful to see wenger do stuff like this... i mean.. yes, he's done wonders for our club... he should realise this.. and stop whining... as with henry... great player.. if he played half as well as he whined, he might have gotten the balun d'or...

as for his remarks towards jol.. well.. it pains me really, because unlike 99.9 percent of arsenal fans, i like spurs... i like what jol has done for spurs and i like the football they play... whats more berbatov is one of my favorite footballers, ive been a fan of his for a while...

maybe arsenal should take a leaf out of someone elses book and try get stuck in every now and then.. maybe we wouldn't be languishing in a patethic sixth on level terms with reading....

it pains me fiercly too seeing results like the one against fulham, knowing well we can thrash liverpool and outplay man united for the most of a match....

we need to get experience... our act together and to get our supposed star players to actually play...

until then, we're just going to have wenger at handbags with every manager he comes up against... and making himself an even bigger figure of hate, not only with opposing fans, but also arsenal fans

Ha, loving some of the comments. On a serious note tho, what has happened to Wenger this season? He's gone from a mild mannered, quiet, shy, clever manager, to an absolute idiot? The Pardew Incident, his outspoken behaviour, his constant moany comments??? And I must say this latest one has been the icing on the cake!!! Lets just sit back and look at this 'problem' Wenger has got, he has to play against a team that didnt play midweek, which isnt fair? Hold the phone, Fulham, Man Utd, Bolton and Liverpool ALL have to do exactly the same today, not only do they have to do the same, but they are all playing AWAY from home as well. Infact the ONLY team in this predicament that gets to play at home is Arsenal.....but let me ask 1 question, Who is the ONLY manager moaning about???

On the subject of Arsenal youthful future, I've seen a number of those players and I can see no reason why they are better prospects than other clubs such as Rossi, Carlton Cole, Nugent, Huddlestone, Adu etc. The only player I have seen worthy of walking into a premiership team first place is Brendtnar, you just have to hope his lack of french blood doesn't see him on the next boat out. Despite what spurs fans say Arsenal are still the better side but the gulf is closing, although in my opinion only until Wenger pulls a player out of one of his many concentration camps across France and Africa. Henry possibly on his way out, Midfield not deciding whether they are world beaters or charlton women's under 11 reserve team. I can't see Arsenal rivalling United or Chelsea for a few years but on the upside, you don't suck as much as Liverpool=)

looks like mourinho has come along in his typical style and joined wenger in his
moaning... it was only a matter of time really.... if mourinho didn't moan, i
don't think anyone would really know who he is to be perfectly honest... good
manager yes... bad bad public figure though...

like wenger he gives off a display of moaning i can say i've only really ever
seen in films.... and thats not good... ever... i feel sorry for any
youngsters aspiring to go into management....
