Hharry Hhotspur (U6178417) posted Dec 2, 2006 Arsenal play charming football with charmless manners. Even as a Spurs fan, I admired Wenger for many years, despite his obvious myopia. In the last year, however, he has gone from a professorial role model to a moaning, aggressive pillock. It is a shame. He needs to shake up Thierry Henry and the rest of the primadonnas who think they have the right to walk the ball into the net and tell them to demean themselves by shooting from outside the area, as other, lesser teams do.

Fairspursfan (U6762962) posted Dec 2, 2006 Ha, loving some of the comments. On a serious note tho, what has happened to Wenger this season? He's gone from a mild mannered, quiet, shy, clever manager, to an absolute idiot? The Pardew Incident, his outspoken behaviour, his constant moany comments??? And I must say this latest one has been the icing on the cake!!! Lets just sit back and look at this 'problem' Wenger has got, he has to play against a team that didnt play midweek, which isnt fair? Hold the phone, Fulham, Man Utd, Bolton and Liverpool ALL have to do exactly the same today, not only do they have to do the same, but they are all playing AWAY from home as well. Infact the ONLY team in this predicament that gets to play at home is Arsenal.....but let me ask 1 question, Who is the ONLY manager moaning about???

FergiesChewedGum (U6654405) posted Dec 2, 2006 On the subject of Arsenal youthful future, I've seen a number of those players and I can see no reason why they are better prospects than other clubs such as Rossi, Carlton Cole, Nugent, Huddlestone, Adu etc. The only player I have seen worthy of walking into a premiership team first place is Brendtnar, you just have to hope his lack of french blood doesn't see him on the next boat out. Despite what spurs fans say Arsenal are still the better side but the gulf is closing, although in my opinion only until Wenger pulls a player out of one of his many concentration camps across France and Africa. Henry possibly on his way out, Midfield not deciding whether they are world beaters or charlton women's under 11 reserve team. I can't see Arsenal rivalling United or Chelsea for a few years but on the upside, you don't suck as much as Liverpool=)
