The Mourihno TALK

Premiership Chelsea

Manager Jose Mourinho has warned Manchester United that he expects his Chelsea side to be leading the Premiership sooner rather than later.

According to him "I don't think it will take a lot of time to be top of the league," said Mourinho after Chelsea beat Bolton 1-0.

"I am happy to be just three points behind because we have had tougher fixtures than United.

"But now is time to win matches consecutively and go top of the league as soon as possible."

He added: "With the very good run Manchester United are having, they have to be frustrated to have only a three-point lead."

Mourinho believes that win at Bolton and the draw Chelsea earned at Old Trafford on Sunday have left the Premiership champions in excellent shape to retain their title.

Do you agree with Mourihno?

Do you think Chelsea will coast their way all the way above Man U (caome May 2007)?

What do you really think?

desertwalker: You must be a very funny person if you didn't find all of the Barca-Chelski games recently captivating. Football isn't 'all' who had the most shots. Arsenal fans will tell you Arsenal play the most exquisite football ever, yet they don't score or win recently smiley
You need to take off the pink glasses, lets face it, all you Man U fans were saying the only reason Chelski dominated MU (second half) in the recent draw at OT was because you sat back protecting your lead. That sounds very attacking dunit ?

Mourhno is an exceptional coach. No coach will have an underperforming Sheva and a lackluster Balack but still manage to put the sqeeze on the likes of Man u,Arsenal,Liverpool et all...The fate of Barcelona is now hanging on the balance for failure to take the threat of chelsea seriously.I will learn from Barca if I were a Man u.

It's all credit to Man U...I think Mourinho & Chelsea (fans) are getting preoccupied...
Mind you if we manage to topple them it's cos we're just behind them & pressurise them so come on you Blues you make us all proud and make it an exciting season for neutrals to watch...
